Wrong, Bin laden and co have no desire to convert us to Islam, thats not their aim, and it's completely absurd, would never happen, this is a myth that has been perpetuated by the status quo in the US and UK (no, not the rock group) who haven't got the balls to admit that it's our interventionism in the middle east which has created the al qeada insurgency. Really, well apart from the 1st Gulf War more than 10 years maybe 15 previous to the second, didn't most of the intervention happen after 911  As for 911 what will stick out in my mind more than anything else was the pictures of Muslims around the world re-joicing them deaths, very sad people i'm sure you'll agree this was wrong  US intervention in the middle east goes back to at least 1953 when the CIA staged there first ever covert coup in Iran, they covertly over threw democratically elected prime minister Mohammed Mossedeq and installed the Shah of Iran who ruled with a iron fist for 25+ years until the revolution in 79, the US and UK have been propping up puppet tyrannies in the middle east for years and years. One of the the primary motive behind 9/11 was the US bases on holy land in saudi arabia stationed there after the first gulf war, which by the way have been moved because the US actually acknowledged that it was a cause of concern for muslims, only problem is the bases, one of which is bigger than the vatican, have been moved to Iraq. Another reason was the brutal sanctions put on Iraq by the US, which killed an estimated 500 thousand Iraqi chldren. And those pictures of Palestinians "rejoicing" after 9/11 were staged, but i would imagine their was muslims who were happy, although they were in the tiny minority, for example in Tehran they held a 1 million person candle lit vigil for the victims, and thats a country who had the Shah enforced onto them by the US and UK. |

I find the fanatics of all 3 main religions (in this debate) just as dispicable , just as ignorant and intolerant, and just as so out of line with the REAL views of the majority of people from the religion they claim to follow . So what you are saying is that the 911 atrocities were justified because the Americans had a base in Saudi, and it will happen again because they have now moved it into Iraq?
From your tone you seem to justify the actions of these Muslim extremist groups, and your not alone on this board. Many Muslims re-joiced in this country to and if this is the reason it just goes to show what a backward religion they really are. Quite clearly there are other reasons behind 911 whether fabricated or truth but i suspect much of both.
What i do hear from back home is the squallow caused by certain groups in areas around Stoke-on-Trent, no go areas? Come on who do they think they? No wonder people are turning to far less traditional parties. You don't have to go far to see what is happening, i am presuming you like me don't live in Stoke? It is happening where i am now, same old story which is for some reason the Muslims don't want to intergrate, they are or think they is mightier than everyone else. If anyone is racist, yes i will use the most over used word in the English language, it is them and they're beliefs. They are bigotted cavemen, and many people like you just won't get that in your politically correctness motivated skulls. The table has turned and gone far too far the other way, racism is a term used against the white man. The white man has taken it for far too long, he has given but he has not received..

We're not even Al Qeadas main enemy, we're seen as the far enemy who helps prop up there main enemies (the puppet police states in the middle east), they attacked on 9/11 in the hope the US would over react and send troops into the middle east where they would get bogged down in quagmires, which they are, in Afghanistan and Iraq, the whole plan was to provoke this reaction from the US and to drain the US's resources and weaken them in bloody wars, the reaction from the US after 9/11 played right into Bin ladens hands, the invasion of Iraq was seen has a huge bonus to him, not only did we get rid of saddam for him, a enemy of al qeada, we have given him a mission by which he can rally more supporters, Bin laden greatest ally over the last 7 years has been US foreign policy, he loves it. |
