www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-england-south-yorkshire-49522660Interesting comments from the judge. Judge Michael Slater criticised the authorities for not taking action. Sentencing the five, Mr Slater said he was "quite satisfied" that the "relevant authorities" were well aware of the way vulnerable teenagers were being targeted for sexual exploitation at the time. He described it as a "lamentable state of affairs", saying that the authorities at the time were at best "totally ineffectual" and, at worst "wholly indifferent" .....and.... The sentencing follows the latest trial to arise out of Operation Stovewood - the massive National Crime Agency investigation into the sexual exploitation of teenagers in Rotherham between 1997 and 2013. The agency has said it believed 1,510 teenagers were exploited in the town during the period.
One town in England, surely there needs to be a national enquiry into just what has happened in town after town.

Why no national enquiry I wonder why that is it's a national disgrace the authorities who knew about these depraved twats should be locked up with these filthy paedophile low life scum for life, time for a return of capital punishment perhaps ? hanged by the balls until dead along with the wankers who aided and protected them.

I don't think the English are shocked at the numbers anymore Musik, just the fact that it was allowed to go on for so long by the authorities and that there is no political outcry for a national enquiry. This is just one small town in England.

A well known Hotel used to be under surveillance years ago but the operations were scaled down, apparently, because of police cut-backs. It's definitely been going on here for 30 years plus. Without forensics and CCTV no prosecutions.

Same with two kids homes, the one in West End and the one at the top of Hartshill Bank used to be rife with it. Hell, I remember girls in my year at school being picked up outside of Oakhill High School gates at hometime by Pakistani men, and I mean men not lads, in the standard issue Mercedes 190E.

Hollybank House plus the 'independence' flats up the top of Shepherd Street. Mercs caught on camera. 245 Hartshill Road where 'Pindown' started. All well known for it. Some of the girls pimped out in Manchester.
