Man Utd away. Give us a bit of a pay day, no pressure match and a huge following and electric atmosphere which can sometimes lift players.

Whoever we get it’s guaranteed to be on Tuesday 24th September as we play on the Friday night that week too Screwed if we get wolves, they're due to play their 1st Europa league group game on Thurs 19th Sept, (albeit qualifying) so that'll mean they'll play the league game on Sunday 22nd. So we'll prob be playing wolves

It would be Forest Green Rovers away for me, only ground I've not done yet of the teams that remain, assuming they pull off a shock tonight.

Blimey, shows how far and fast we have fallen if we really need a 'pay day' against some big boys. We played them as equals 19 months ago and now we are hoping to raise a few quid for a new sit down mower and a pot of paint for the front gates :-) Must admit I'd prefer a winnable tie.

any of the lower league sides at home, gives us a better chance at advancing to the latter stages.

I'm not usually one to say it but I'd rather we sacked off the cup and put these winning performances in the actual league rather than in vain when we get KO'd in the next round or round after

Not just one particular day, for longer periods when we were in form between 2013 and 2015 I think we were a better team than them. Not over the course of a full season though no. I'm just making the point we were far from being in a "different orbit" from a footballing point of view.

True, but even so I think it’s gives us a better chance at progressing. We gone out plenty of times to clubs of all leagues.

Wigan away was a potential banana skin and unless we draw a top 6 team, the tie won’t come much tougher than a near sell out Elland Road against the inform team in the league... I’d like a lower league team away. That, or Spurs away.

Home tie against a lower league club please, whilst big clubs get drawn together. I don't care how slim the odds the league cup is a winnable competition. Championship clubs have reached the final before. With just 1 major honour to our name I live in hope every season that we might add to that.

Well realistically we’re not going win the cup so a 40% take of a 70k crowd will do. Cup game they would give us thousands which can make it a great occasion. We will be expected lose anyway so a good away day where hopefully the players give there all can unite players and fans again. Just my mad thinking
