It has to be Verlinden instead of Ince but it won't be, it will be Verlinden coming off the bench with 10 minutes to go

Surely we need more than 2 options For our next game McLean is probably out injured

There's no end product though so it's irrelevant Totally agree Ince does have no product 😱 That's more like it!

No- there are a few people who despite watching 20 months of Ince keep assuring us that there is a player in there and make every excuse under the sun for him. The truth is that he is ridiculously one footed, would struggle to beat an egg and makes crossing look as difficult as Astro physics. If the goal is made 10 yards wide and 12 feet high he would score hundreds. Other than that he’s an absolute world beater.

No, I don't think he's been any good for us period, this SEASON or LAST!!! I'm just confused as to where you thought he was good at all......that's why I put "have I missed something"!!! Come on it's not that hard to grasp!!!

He's not a player I'd have signed, think that's clear by a lot of my comments about him, with many suggesting I was being unreasonable with my comments. It now seems many others have come to the same conclusion. This post, was saying, that I believe the return of Verlinden may get Ince performing to his first year stoke level, which would see us look like a balanced team able to attack and deliver down both wings. I agree, even in his first year he wasn't great, but still significantly better than the passenger he is at present. If we can get rid of him for the right fee, I'd take it, but I genuinely think there won't be anyone interested and due to wages we may have to see if he can play himself back into form.

Cracking goal, turn, anticipation and pace, and a cool finish, the guy on row 3 would be throwing it back onto the pitch if it was Tom Ince

Let's remember Verlinden isn't British, so that automatically puts him down mon's pecking order.

If I remember rightly that’s from where he scored goals

I'm not convinced Verlinden will get many starts. I reckon O'Neill will see him as an impact player when we're in need of a goal with 15 minutes to go

I can see Verlinden back and Ince as a no. 10 If I remember rightly that’s from where he scored goals Ince has never done it as a number 10, unfortunately. His best form for Blackpool came playing out on the left wing while at Derby he was out on the right side playing where he does now. In his last season at Pride Park (16/17) he featured 47 times in his current position and finished the season with 15 goals and 8 assists. He may well be playing in a poorer team these days but there's no doubt he's a pale shadow of the player he once was. At 27 / 28 he should be at his peak.

I'm not convinced Verlinden will get many starts. I reckon O'Neill will see him as an impact player when we're in need of a goal with 15 minutes to go I suppose it will depend on how he does in those sub appearances. He won’t start for a little while, though he should vs Brentford. If Ince doesn’t start adding end product and Verlinden shows the right attitudes, I certainly feel he will be in the team.
