We never needed Smith. Your stunting the growth of a local talent who's up there with the best RBs in the league. We're struggling to shift Bauer to anyone Nah, if Edwards is good enough he’ll be able to keep Smith out of the side in the long run. Good competition is healthy. My problem with this is that unless something major has changed with Edwards from the end of last season then it should be Smith trying to take Edwards position in the team, not the other way round. He was one of the bright spots from last season and now he’s seemingly been usurped by another player whilst doing absolutely nothing wrong. It’s baffling to me. |

Nah the one with one leg and a glass eye. Should we resign Bera because he played for an international team  If he was an unbeaten international who played for a top team and lived his life like a professional athlete I think we should consider it. My main point on Bauer is that he is at least as good in his position as anyone else at the club: on recent form the same may well be true of Berahino. I don't think that's true of Bauer. There's a reason why none of his managers ever seem to trust him at right back for long. |
