This is more like it. Get him in! You’re going to be unbearable when we miss out on him and end up with Lee Cattermole. Oh God yeah.

This signals a departure given we’ve already signed Cousins.
I fancy Woods is on his merry way to Swansea.

Woods seems to have found some form in the last two games. Can't say I know much about the other lad but it does seem a bit out of the blue.

Seems exactly the type we need at the base of the diamond and for once Stoke fans are in agreement about a potential signing. Queue imminent signing for WBA. Never thought I'd agree that it would be good to have a semi from the base. I was always a full on Don from the base to the tip

I'm fascinated to see how he slots in at the base of a diamond if he signs. I thought he looked everything that Jones isn't looking for in a midfielder - slow, bulky and cumbersome.

He played as a defender against us right? He's nailed on for the DM spot if we get him. Cousins?

Let's hope this happens because it would be a concern if Cousins was the main option for DM

Only with people who can't read and understand what i'm saying mate. I'm not saying I don't rate him. I'm just saying I thought he was a bit immobile and bulky and that i'm intrigued as to how he will fit into a role where he'll mostly be isolated against nippy number 10's, considering Jordan Cousins is the opposite. At the game at our place he was the DM in a system with two other midfielders around him (Vaulks and one other who I forget). If people don't understand by now that I back the manager then I give up...

The two clubs involved are widely believed to be West Brom and Leeds Think the Leeds speculation was from about a week ago, and was wrong? Who knows though? www.thestar.co.uk/sport/football/rotherham-united-losing-semi-ajayi-would-be-like-losing-two-or-three-players-478626Warne was amused by the speculation regarding a move to Leeds, which came as Ajayi was soon due to board a plane to Germany for the pre-season training camp. “I did enjoy reading all the false stuff on Twitter that my son sent me about Semi being at the Leeds United training ground for a medical,” he said. “It just shows the power of social media. “He’s looking great in pre-season in midfield. He’s not knocking on my door to say he’s desperate to get out. I’m not aware of anything.”

I did notice a couple of their fans actually describing him as "quick" in the thread at the top

How does a smokescreen work in this day and age anyway, when it's in the interests of the player and his agent to whip up as much interest as possible?

Dare I say it....
I’m going to sound all Bayern....
Oh fuck it.
I’m all aboard the Ajayi signing as it’s fucking quality, however, why did we sign Lindsey if this guy can DM and CB. Especially with the CB pool we have/had.
Shawcross Batth BMI Souttar Collins
We seem to have bought a defender (Lindsey) we don’t actually have a use for, unless Collins is potentially completely blocked, or potentially leaving...

I guess by the club chatting to the agent with perhaps no intention really of buying? A bit like when agents feed stories to the media?

A signing that is universally popular on The Oatcake? Heavens above. I've never heard of him ! Right, I've been on wiki and done my homework, he's Steven N'Zonzi of build, let's hope he's half as good, late developer, turns 26 in November and only just racked up his 100th league game. My sense us he may have some nuisance value in an ungainly way :-)

The agent of the player we actually want will still be chatting to all and sundry though?
