How would you feel about Vale playing their home games at Stoke, like Coventry at Birmingham?

It would cost a lot disinfecting the place after they'd been in.

Also, I think you mean "hypothetical" rather than "rhetorical".

That doesn't sound like a rhetorical question.
In fact I suspect that rehotorical questions and the Oatcake are more or less incompatible.
Or are they...?

How would you feel about Vale playing their home games at Stoke, like Coventry at Birmingham? Couldn’t give a toss. Make them pay the going rate and the policing bill etc and good luck to them.

Just worried about the state the pitch would get into with double the games.
Footie grounds when they let the local rugger team play on them end up looking like the old Park Hall.
Maybe im in splendid isolation but Vale have never really bothered me, or entered the consciousness too much - grew up in longton so less Valeites round there I guess than Burslem and Tunstall etc. Frankly speaking, I've always thought then too small to be classed as "rivals".

Vale fans have always said they would never share with Stoke as they would never sit on red seats.
I'm pretty certain we have more than enough white seats for them🤣.

They have been a drag on stoke city for donkeys years. Id rather see them fold or be wound up rather than, ground share

Just give them the oatcake barge, plenty of seating there for their needs.

I'd prefer it if the Vile played their games in Chechnya.

They could play at Clayton Wood. The facilities there far better than Vale Park & they may actually get to fill that little stand alongside the main pitch! 🤣

It’s not really a true comparison to Coventry’s situation as there is little if any animosity between the two clubs involved there. Most Birmingham fans are empathetic with Cov’s plight and happy to do their bit to help.

Kidsgrove athletic Nortons pitch Castle Town.
All of those are the perfect alternative

I think because with Stoke City FC apparently in the grip of an early summer shutdown, it gives us something to talk about, and introduces a little humour into our unfulfilled lives.
