Could the Grealish deal give the green light for Delap?

Could the Grealish deal give the green light for Delap? More likely that the Kane one will.

Could the Grealish deal give the green light for Delap? More likely that the Kane one will. Clearly the Kane deal/ injury will be holding up any potential move to any club. Clearly we have an interest but things may change. This is down to Levy again !

Can't really see this as an update when we know every club would take him?

I think they are taking a punt with that based on that dodgy tweet from last night.

Yep no update, plus Bournemouth got Solanke so Delaps minutes more limited there.
If Citeh are willing to let hm go, I firmly believe we’ll be blowing teams out of the water for him

If Citeh are willing to let hm go, I firmly believe we’ll be blowing teams out of the water for him Yes I think that if Manchester will let him go out on loan they would be happy if it’s to a club nearby and the player also would most likely prefer somewhere where he can live in the same place as he does now. On top of that though we have the father / son relationship. You’d think that they’d both want to help the other wouldn’t you? If he goes out on loan anywhere, it makes more sense that he comes to Stoke than probably anywhere else and certainly more likely than to a club 200 miles away from his home. BM

BM Accepted but the counters runs Stoke buy players not good enough to get in our team , promotion favourites goals galore , Scott Parker , live in Sandbanks. Dstcne is better for his personal growth Rent free , happy and free To pay as big wages , type of football much closer to City , they can make a pretty compelling case

And if it's not the guy they spent £20m on and scored 15 last season, he's going to be a bit pissed off, you'd think. I think if he's loaned, it'll be here

Bournemouth would be an attractive move for him and Man C. unless they are changing to 2 up top it would be a poor move for him (& Man City) as Solanke would start most games

We should play 'the bigger man' / 'proper football club' card and offer to take him and his wages etc on, now and in full and give him the time he needs til he's back playng - just like we did when we loaned Rory from Blunderland.
Was a masterstroke from PC at the time. Could very well work again.
We must have something left in the kitty from Burnley?

Bournemouth would be an attractive move for him and Man C. No way, we’ve got sharks near our beaches in Bournemouth….far too dangerous, he’d be better off in Stoke 😉

I think we need to exercise a bit of quality control on tweets posted in this thread. Nothing from made-up 'journalists', anonymous transfer ITK accounts covering any and all rumours, or anyone whose account is less than a couple of years old.

We must have something left in the kitty from Burnley? For a one-season loan for a contracted player at the richest club in the world? Not quite the same context is it
