Well yeah, the source only has credibility if they're actually a somebody. It's so clearly a fake twitter account. Really? Nixon has thousands of followers and he's more full of shit than a sewage plant. btw, the first guy to say Brown was signing from Barnsley had about 20 followers. Its not the x factor and a popularity contest. That’s not the point is it, of course it’s possible it could be correct but a random Twitter account with fuck all followers that tweets out football “news” with no reputation, no record and nothing at stake is hardly noteworthy is it

Its not the x factor and a popularity contest. The account was literally created like a day ago. It's so, so clearly bollocks lad, wise up Wise up? When did I say I believed said account? I also don't believe the popular bullshit you obviously do because they may have a 'few more followers'. They've been wrong more often than not and is no different guesswork.

Tell me one with a reputation that's solid? I'll wait till Davesviews comes back shall I? Christ alive 😁 No, the point is not "popularity". The point is credibility/notability, which is a scale and for which there are several indicators, such as past record, public profile, date of creation of account, number of followers (and who they are), anonymous or not, and whether the account actually belongs to the person supposedly represented. As the tweet you posted comes from an an anonymous, unverified Twitter account created by one of the seven billion people in the world one day ago, which has posted six tweets and has 30 followers, it's not controversial to point out it comes in around the rock-bottom end of the credibility scale. Can't believe I'm spending my time explaining social media You're welcome though

He's arguably the best player of his age in world football and you aren't sure where he fits in? Is he big enough to lead the line on his own? I dont know, was a genuine question, not a dig at the lad I was only messing mate. He has all the attributes to play up front on his own or with a partner. I suspect Man City will want him out on loan for a season to refine his movement (in terms of intelligence) and he will then compete for a 1st team spot. Breaking in to a top side as a young centre forward is probably only usurped in the difficulty stakes by doing so as a young keeper. I'd expect him to be perfect for us. He's a big string lad and quick with it. Watching him at junior levels, he's head and shoulders above everyone.

I think how we have to look at it look how good cambell is and he scored no where near the amount of goals in the u23 but we he got to the first team it took him a year get up to gear same could be with Liam but if he’s around the first team of city and training with the quality he will be the championship would be great for his development and only a good thing for us he’s still young and if it goes well maybe we could get him the season after

Are we disregarding the issue of Jesus' injury, then (putting Delap's move into question)? Or was that some kind of unconfirmed spoiler?

He was the covid denier who used to take great joy in posting pictures of him getting pissed with his mates when people were being told to stay at home then one of his family members got really ill with it Never saw him once deny it? And so what if he did post pictures ffs ? Because he was being a nob and sending pictures of himself in the pub to wind up people who were genuinely concerned about, taking the piss out of them for saying it was serious, and then a family member caught it and was put into a coma at which point he changed his mind on it all

It was more an off-the-record chat than a media thing to be honest. He's not involved in that side a great deal, too long in the tooth. He's been wrong countless times before, but that was his conversation. Nothing against you personally, but Radio Stoke can usually be relied upon to get the wrong end of the stick in pretty much all matters that they attempt to report on. Commentary team can’t even get half of the players names correct for goodness sake. Wouldn’t take any notice of them! I'm well aware of that mate, the whole radio stoke team should be changed IMO, they're terrible. I'm just relaying conversations someone with access to Rory and a friend to Rory over 13 years, has told me. As I mentioned, he's been wrong countless times, and these things can change overnight for sure.

With the delap signing likely does this end the Davis from villa pursuit Not slagging Davies off because I think he would be a decent loan for us but Delap is in a whole different league and IF we could get him then Davies would most definitely be surplus to requirements.

Would he mate? No Campbell, no Vokes and no Gregory leaves us with just Fletcher as it stands We need another two strikers in even with Campbell fit

Yes we are a bit light but MON fancies Brown who can play there. I fancy we’d try for another winger who can double up as a striker at a push.

Crux of it is they have no idea and are guessing so even if he doesn’t sign it’s not because a few cranks on the mb said so

He does - or at least he considers him as a utilty player who can play up front. But given that Campbell is not yet fit, Fletcher isn't going to play all the games, Delap and Brown isn't really enough in terms of numbers. I can see an argument for Davis on loan as well as Delap - providing of course that the FFP situation allows it - and if Gregory and Ince were to leave I think it would.

Are we disregarding the issue of Jesus' injury, then (putting Delap's move into question)? Or was that some kind of unconfirmed spoiler? Aguero was injured pretty much all season and he played only about 3 times, starting once. Pretty sure they won't be needing him. Will be very interesting to see what happens with him. If he does go out on loan hopefully it's to us.
