If this deal comes off, I already feel old with D’Margio Wright-Phillips on the cusp of our first team but being able to say I’ve watched a Father & Son both play for Stoke will just about finish me off😂. (Yes I know D’Margio is older than Delap) Add Campbell to that aswell and to a lesser extent ince😂...god I feel old |

If you want your player to develop its not easy to do that from the bench. Clubs rightly want to protect their interests and in Stokes case no one wants to be dictated to, even with a player of this undoubted quality. Where he plays, the system and how often is more important to Pep than any of the things you mentioned. |

And, whatever anyone (including himself) says, Rory & jnr will definitely have a father & son tete a tete about it, even if it's not definitive. And when they do (did), what else could Rory actually say other than they are fantastic owners that look after their own - even when they weren't actually their own at the time. |

Looks a class player. Definatley an upgrade on jacob brown which is a bonus. Not sure where he fits in when Tye is back though He's arguably the best player of his age in world football and you aren't sure where he fits in? Is he big enough to lead the line on his own? I dont know, was a genuine question, not a dig at the lad He's a big strong lad Quick Good first touch Good in the air Good strike on him Can dribble In short he's got the lot bar experience Reminds me of Malcolm MacDonald with a bit of Alan Shearer Future England striker for sure |
