I think most footballers let their agents decide everything nowadays. That's on them then isn't it? If they didn't want their agent to do something, they can say so. I'm sure their argument is that's what they pay them for.

They pay their agents to represent their interest as professionally as possible. That doesn’t give an agent carte blanche to come out with any old shit. If an agent was continually spouting shite that the principal didn’t agree with don’t you think they’d reign them in?

They don’t work for their agent, it’s the other way round.

What really wrecks my head about this one is when we signed him.
We're looking likely for relegation, surely at that point you make sure the player will be willing to play in the league below. In many ways it's even more irresponsible than Wimmer's purchase, 16 million for someone who played for about 4 months.

Images of him with the sea in the background and the sun shining suggest he's left those days behind. However, why does Turkey seem to be his only bolthole? His agent needs to do his bloody job and get him a new permanent move, I can only assume it's more advantageous for him to get successive loans for Badou. I really have no idea. He's certainly one that there should be a market for, unlike Imbula and Wimmer.

Turkish clubs really do take the Micky. I’d refuse to do business with them on moral grounds. What they and the player are doing to manipulate the move can’t be legal. We’re letting them bully us.

6m euros total! Makes you sick. 10m Euro hit. Doesn't make me sick. I accepted a long time ago that we've spent a lot of money on a few bad eggs/poor players and that we were going to make some big losses. In the grand scheme of things, it isn't the end of the world. We made a sizeable profit on Arnie and should make a few quid on Butland too when he finally leaves. The club made a fortune from the premier league era. We just need to draw a line under the bomb squad now, cut our losses and get them off the books, no matter how shit the transfer fees look on paper. We cant keep funding the horrendous amount of wages they are taking up.

It seems pretty clear we need to bring some funds in to allow Jones to spend. Unbelievable to think there was people this week saying we should sell badou for a profit 😂

It’s so annoying as I actually thought he was a decent character and he performed well in the prem for those few months. I don’t like the fact he’s refusing to play in the champ, surely he knew there was a large possibility we would go down when he signed!

You'd want the compulsory purchase part of the deal to be absolutely legally watertight. I'd have no faith in them honouring it.

I was at Leeds it was a disgusting no show however that's all there's been as far as I'm aware. He certainly put a shit in the previous season. Compared to Imbula he's not really been a problem whilst he's here. He doesn't way to play second division football, no crime in that is there?

He was nowhere near good enough on the pitch to forget about all that and that will obviously put any clubs off in the future.
