đYour skin has thickened somewhat in the interim.Couldn't be agreed with the fallout my foot. You live to rankle. I've gone past caring. Similar PMs are being passed re Jones from way more sensible than me. A conundrum indeed

I would rather us play the kids and lose with heart than see that petulant twat pull on the red and white again. He and Berahino are the embodiment of our decline, neither deserve to be associated with Stoke City or the fans that pay good money to watch every week. Thing is though, get him playing and he will be a massive asset. Has he really ran out of chances like Bera? Yes. End of discussion

Itâs not great news for us because it would have been useful for him to have played and done something decent to attract a bid. When does his contract run out?

sportwitness.co.uk/stoke-city-open-letting-player-go-loan-happy-view-buy-wont-make-compulsory/Giannelli Imbula continues to be the headache that never goes away for Stoke City. Bologna are keeping an eye on the situation, although he isnât anywhere near their first choice to bolster the midfield.
Corriere dello Sport state the fact Stoke City are more than happy with a loan with a view to buy offer, and arenât forcing for an âobligation to purchaseâ, has made Imbula a possibility.

Can only see an annual loan until he's released. If we can recover all wages then it's a pretty decent deal all things considered, which is a frightening statement.

We're not going to get a penny of his ÂŁ18.3 million fee back are we. Its interesting with regards to our purchases in the Prem: Unearthed gems for relative peanuts: Arnie, Bojan, Muniesa, Walters, Huth And then we go for the 'next level' type player, splurge a fortune and invariably everything goes tits up: Berahino, Wimmer, Imbula, N'Daiye That said we've spent big and hit gold: Crouch.... and also dog shit Palacios Personally I like the look of the emerging squad ready for a dog fight. Just hope Jones can get someone nasty on board because that's been missing for a while now. Every team needs an enforcer/twat

"He had no interest in learning English" Not learning the language like 95% of all British players that go and play abroad then......

"He had no interest in learning English" Not learning the language like 95% of all British players that go and play abroad then...... Brits are like that though. Expect everybody to learn and speak English when they are here, then make zero effort to learn a language when they go abroad. Hypocrites.

If only there was some way for our crack scouting team to ascertain that this lad had a stinking attitude and a history of trouble with his former clubs. You'd think that they could have subtly used their contacts around the world game to eek out valuable snippets of information about his character and attitude. Or typed his name into Google

Can we not just offer him a mutual termination
Weâre not going to get any money for him and I doubt clubs are even paying all his wages when we loan him out

Thanks glen, that's just driven his price down even further. Any chance we could just recoup the .3 of the 18.3

Didnât this Glen Johnson interview take place ages ago ??? Like 12 months ago ? Yes, but our resident history revisionists are now claiming he was fluent in English and that was just propaganda put out by the club to hide their ineptitude. Of course, the next claim will be â if your employer tells you to say something or youâ fired, you are going to do it.

Or could have read the thread on here prior to him signing and an interview that Radio Stoke did with a French journalist saying he was pretty uncontrollable. Carry on being Tony Scholes Lord Protector on the Oatcake though, the other seals need a day off now and then!
