Apparently Carslberg is being ditched (at long last) and being replaced with Carling from next season.

A forward thinking club would engage with local and medium distance small brewers to showcase their crafted ales and to provide the paying customer with a more rounded choice.
If they could think of a way of switching it around on either a weekly, bi weekly, monthly or quarterly basis they could turn matchdays into a mini beer festival.
Just saying, definitely not moaning...

Thats actually big thing in grassroots and non-league football as well as a few of the rugby clubs here in Wales. I believe FC United in fact have (or had at one point at least) their own micro-brewery on site and Dulwich Hamlet apparently do a selection of ales on pump every matchday. Cant we have a decent lager on taps, such as Kronenbourg instead of that piss-water?

Too difficult to maintain consistency with craft beers. At least the overpriced plastic bottled lager is consistently shite.

We have more than one bar because we're posh. Posh idiots drinking warm Carlsberg paying cash and cash only*. You don't get a nice fried slice of class like that every day of the week you know. Next we'll be drinking Asti through a sweaty sock.
* Not from next season you ungrateful idiot.

Last time I was in the area I visited the brewery in Buxton to taste some really nice beers/ales. It was also very nice to discover that there were a couple of new places for me up in Hanley where you could get some very good beers.

Think I'd rather go to a proper pub for a proper pint of locally brewed bitter. Carling is awful. I'd rather have a glass of water

when we are not playing I sometimes go and watch Shrewsbury. They have a dedicated bitter stand that just serves Salapion ales, either a IPA or a darker bitter, both lovely. You can get served quick and easy and there's a high take up
