Pulis always goes on the defensive when being out coached. Imagine being outdone by a total rookie.

All the teams in the play offs are extremely fucking average and already we have fans saying we shouldn't expect to compete at that end of the table next season. There's no excuse for the shit we've seen this season to be repeated, none at all. It's a competitive division with zero quality. No different to the bottom half of the premier league really, bar the odd player of decent quality hee and there, which the promotes sides inevitably sign.

The media obsessing over Lampard pisses me off. Although the thought of them losing the play off final is amusing.

I really hope it won't be Derby as the media will absolutely go into overdrive about Frank bloody Lampard.
I can't see Bristol City being good enough to make it.
Not because Tone is manager there but I'd prefer Boro to do it. They're more of a club like us and wouldn't be media darlings if they did manage to win the play offs and get promoted.
Unfortunately out of those three I think it will be Derby - lucky late goal (own goal) or penalty, you just know it'll happen.

It's looking like Derby at the moment Boro winning so hopefully West Brom can draw at Derby to send the Boro into the play offs and save us from Frank Lampard media overload.

After being in and around the play off and promotion positions for a long part of the season he has tailed off right at the end. Will the board there want to endure another season of Pulisball?

Interesting to see if he re-surfaces anyway or calls it a day

He's completely fucked it
He's completely and utterly failed on the number one priority of promotion. He should have been gunning for automatic promotion and he messed it up. Gibson will get rid. Rightly so.
Calling march4, I expect the pro tone posts any moment.

Is there an appetite for anyone to play the TP way anymore? Looks like the games passed him by now.

Frank 'massive gamble' Lampard has done a great job at Derby and has out-coached many a more experienced manager this season, including the tool who he has pipped to a play off post.
We should have been in for him, but we hadn't the vision to see what he could do. Instead we went for a failure and gave him the keys to the warchest.

What's happened? I thought Boro were guaranteed promotion under TP? Is there some kind of typing error with the league table? 😯

I have this awful feeling they’re going to go up.

Good management isn't it.

Now do I like Derby. Nope. Do I particularly care about Frank. Nope.
However I don't get the hatred towards the guy. Yes he's maybe a bit smug, so is Jones.
A total rookie has got them top 6. All of you bemoaning the fact they have Chelsea and Liverpool loanees are probably the same ones who wanted us to get Abraham and Wilson.
Can't have it all roads. He has been under pressure purely because of his name. Has he delivered. Yes.
To me a fair round of fucks to the bloke
