Boro for me, I'm a great fan of Tony Pulis. Boro for me also. Nothing would give me greater pleasure than to see the capped cunt getting rinsed every week.

Boro will have a new manager pretty soon you'd have to imagine.

In answer to the original question: Not Pulis and not City, so who does that leave?

All the teams in the play offs are extremely fucking average and already we have fans saying we shouldn't expect to compete at that end of the table next season. There's no excuse for the shit we've seen this season to be repeated, none at all. It's a competitive division with zero quality. So I gather from that response to the thread question, that you’d like Middlesbrough to be promoted?

Regardless of who makes it I can’t see anybody other than Villa going up, given the form they’re in. First half against us at home they looked to be the worst Villa team I'd ever seen. They then won ten on the bounce after that game I'm convinced we don't even have to improve that much to be involved next season. It’s a difficult one. It’s hard to tell how much improvement would be needed (statistically) to move 10 of those draws to wins, which would put us up there. It’s also hard to tell how much scoring more goals would compromise our relatively miserly defence. That said I’d much rather go at it and win, lose, win, lose, than just draw, draw, draw. There are very few teams who walk away with this league, Anybody showing any kind of consistency can see themselves up there. If we can’t be in the top 6 next season, it’s time to shut the doors and give up.

Probably Villa if pushed, as they could strengthen again in the summer and clearly have a good manager but they're all gash.

Middlesbrough for me, hopefully they go on to win the play-offs aswell. Would much rather keep Derby, West Brom & Villa in the division as they're all local games that have a bit of summat about 'em. Getting rid of Norwich & Ipswich is great, fuck off Middlesbrough aswell & there's only really Swansea left that's a pain in the arse. (I don't want Portsmouth or Sunderland coming up for similar reasons.)

You'd expect Middlesbrough to beat already relegated Rotherham. West brom could be a tricky one for Derby. Middlesbrough to clinch it for me.

Again, just trying to understand the logic here ...... you see a thread clearly about something you absolutely don’t care about one way or another, open it and post some unrelated personal opinion which you have probably posted dozens of times before. Why?

I'd love to see Boro in the play off final if only to see Toxic blow a 2-0 lead going into the 90th minute and lose on penalties AGAIN.

TP will play a 10 man defence, and lose out, due to his negativity.

Pulis for me. I’m a big fan of his, and particularly when you look around our squad now at internationals and Jones can’t get much of a tune out of them - it goes to show what a good boss Pulis was/is.
Some of the players who got us up were bang average but working their sacks off for each other. Delap, Cresswell, Cort, Dickinson, etc - none of them great players, but the manager had them running through walls for the team. Something we need again.
Good luck TP - I’ll be routing for you.

Pulis won't win the play-offs, he's a serial choker. Last season I don't think they had a shot in their home leg v Villa. Then he choked against Valencia, and he couldn't even finish the job with Gillingham when they were 2-0 up after 90 minutes. Bottle job.
