Fingers crossed for Rowett. Really hoping he gets a gig soon and still believes his dream front three in a 4-3-3 of Ince Afobe and McClean are the dogs bollox. He would get all three at knock down prices and in turn do us a huge favour.

Rather unfair, methinks. QPR have been creating plenty of chances but not putting them away.
Check out this table from the weekend before last, with QPR in 7th on expected goals:
It also shows Frank Lampard's Derby are rather clinical and in a bit of a false position. It could be interesting next year if they don't go up through the playoffs.

If you're strapped for cash, you hardly want to spend money on managers. It's easy to dislike McLaren because he comes over as a bit of a self regarding twat. However given that pre-season QPR were relegation favourites yet they'll comfortably stay up having spent nowt I'm not sure how much better he could have done. A lot of players who have worked with him rate him highly as a coach but not as a manager. |
