Solskjaer is an interesting example. Did well when he was temporarily in charge - was then appointed and had a poor run. Fans were calling for his head. Also had a poor start to this season but has now had a good run in the League and F.A. up (so far). He would have had problems to deal with, the main one being how he handled Pogba. I know he has the backing of the Board and Sir Alex (inside source). He seems level headed and not prone to panic - I think he will do well. Remind you of anyone? Tony Pulis

So am i missing somthing.
For the ones who say they dont care dont post.
So Solskjaer the manager decides not to play Ronaldo on Saturday. His choice he's the manager. Hes probably thinking with his age he should miss the odd game.
Hes getting some much backlash. It could just be the media fault. They are suggesting Ronaldo wasnt happy about it. All the pundits seem to be saying it was wrong. One pundit on Talksport calling it a sackable offence. Now suggesting Fergie had a conversation with someone and he doesn't agree.
Like i said he's the manager. He decided who plays and who dosn't. Bit harsh if you ask me. Like everyone is out to get him.
Couple of mates who are United fans dont think he can get them over the line to win Trophies.
Just think people seem out to get him.

The media/people in general are out to get everyone who is a success and/or in a high up position. If Man Utd beat Everton, Ronaldo not starting wouldn't have been an issue. They're 2 points off the top of the table, and I imagine most sensible Man Utd fans would have been happy with that as a start to the season. I could understand the pressure towards the end of the season if Man Utd aren't challenging for the title and/or a trophy.

Long may Solskjaer reign. Doing too well to be sacked but not quite good enough to win anything 🙂

He’s one of the good guys is ole.
Not sure his personality is big enough to manage united and it’s collection of bellends though.

Long may Solskjaer reign. Doing too well to be sacked but not quite good enough to win anything 🙂 It’s about the size of it isn’t it.. likeable, dignified guy, club legend, has probably improved things at the club in many ways. But simply not a good enough manager for a job like ManU and never has been

One of the other teams may skip up but not all three of them.

So there is no chance of him proving us wrong? He wont get united over the line and win somthing. Im not talking FA CUP or League Cup. Can he win League or CL. Not sure i guess Klopp didnt win things immediately at Liverpool. Its weather Solskjaer gets time. I wouldnt say Solskjer cant handle it. Like i said originally he is the manager. If he chooses not to pick Ronaldo that his choice he will have his reasons. Christiano just needs to be ready when he is picked which im sure he will be.

He's the reason why Man Utd won't win anything and for that I'm extemely grateful for Ole.
Let's be honest, if he gets the sack tomorrow who else in the Premier League would be desperate to hire him? Not a single sausage. I wouldn't want him here either.

I can only surmise Ole rested him because he has the internationals coming up, followed by some challenging Premier League fixtures. Ronnie may be a machine, but he's not indestructible. The Fergie chat with that UFC bloke really hasn't helped. In fact it's very much undermined Ole, those words coming from a United legend.

And part of the reason why when he was linked with them I don’t think his goals justify everything else. Obviously others will disagree but I don’t get why you’d want that particular show in town tbh.

Solskjaer at Man Utd: V.S Klopp - P6 W1 D4 L2 V.S Guardiola P8 W4 D1 L3 V.S Tuchel (Chelsea P1 D1, PSG P4 W2 L2) Mix of league, cup and European games there. Not an awful record by any stretch, and pretty comparable to any of those three's records against one another.
