He's a young manager that I believe will be successful in this game, however, it's just the wrong time for him to be at this job. It's an incredibly hard task and I just feel its not suited for him right now.

Im not sure what you expected, we have very little creativity in the side, the midfield are all pretty much the same, McClean is basically what Walters was for us and Ince is out for himself most of the time, its a big summer and Jones needs to get it right. Most of the players don't care beyond getting paid. What little creativity we have, the manager, like the one before, and the one before that, and the one who originally signed it, stubbornly refuses to make use of. Any manager will stand or fall by his choices. We'll keep faith with Jones, even if he takes us down to League 2 apparently, but will his career ever recover, while ours won't? The more I see his actions here I'm convinced that it was the coaching team that made Luton great again, not the manager...

He needs time he’s been left a shocker of a squad which anyone could struggle to get anything out of. I would say though right now he isn’t helping himself though with some of his selections but with the players he has at his disposal anyone would struggle to get a tune out of them. On a positive we look a lot more solid at the back with the Indi / Batth partnership looking good. Midfield is the key though. We today had 3 players who are too similar that don’t offer Pace Power Creativity Goals You will not score with players who are bits and pieces players who only knock 10 yard balls predominanly back or sideways. Of the 3 Etebo is the best and is worth his place. Next match we have to play Charlie as even in his short cameo he gave us more zip. Bojan too needs to come in for the lazy Ince. What the fuck does Bojan do in training? He must be beyond atrocious to not get a game Apparently he keeps banging in scores of goals, according to his coach Rory Delap. But we don't want a player like that in our team, do we?

We can’t keep sacking managers, the club needs stability, having got rid of two duds in quick succession.... I have to admit, I’m getting rather pissed off with results and performances, but we need to stick with Jones, give him time to sign his own players, and hope his pledge to deliver fast, attractive football materialises... But don’t hold your breath, he’s got a lot of lazy, overpaid wankers to ship out e.g. Afobe, Ince, Clucas (Rowett signings) to name but a few.

Replacing managers and often a complete new team seems to work for Watford. You need a forward thinking experienced director of football with some serious european contacts and a recruitment process that works. We are and have been a million miles away from such a structure, relying on the boys club of Coates Scholes and Carto.Coates is to be admired for his love and commitment to the club. But he continues to keep faith with key exec members who don't have the vision to take us forward.

I’ve never been one to jump on the ‘Scholes out’ bandwagon, I thought he did a good job up until 2016, but the last 3 years have been disastrous and along with Carto he must be held responsible... I agree with you, the time has come for Coates to grow a pair, get rid, and freshen things up... But I’d still give Jones another 15 months to see if he can step up to the mark and sort out this bloody mess.
