We haven’t scored a goal in weeks, and hardly even got close.
We’ve got strikers who’ve cost us millions of pounds and they don’t even get chances to score, let alone work the keeper.
Bristol city, Hull, WBA, Wigan - no goals.
Have we ever gone this long without so much as a deflection or an own goal?
Even binary football under Pulis was more fruitful than this dross.

What do you mean we've hardly got close. We had a one on one with the keep from 12 yards against Hull.....

Im just saying, Hull we missed a penalty and got in good positions and didn’t make the most of them. Should of had a pen vs west brom and got into good areas again didn’t make the most of them. Same tonight can’t fault them for trying mate its the hardest thing in football to do but it will clme miles better than under rowett

Leading scorer under NJ (Campbell) out on loan at Shrewsbury to get experience - but not even in starting 11 last Saturday! Oh for a reserve team that played in a league with regular games. We might then have fit players who can be called at short notice who know the system and can last for 90 minutes!!

He has a proven track record of getting a team to score lots, and I mean LOTS of goals.
Keep your powder dry, write the season off and let him do this thing in pre season where he can bring his players in.

The process has been explained countless times, Cartwright and the scouting team come up with the list and the manager picks who he wants from that list. Tony Scholes only deals with the contracts, he has absolutely no say on who we sign.

Yet his record is predicated on league 1/2 football at 1 club.

No blame whatsoever with these two.

I know he hasnt been the best far from it but do we give bera a chance he cant do any worse than afobe or mclean who are useless.ile give mclean the benefit he isnt a striker he makes a good impact sub last 25 but afobe offers nothing got first touch of a bag of sand at least bera can control a ball and has got a bit more movement and can bring other players into the game

If you choose to ignore them that's fine I just hope they're both on £20-25K for their exceptionally minor administrative roles. I certainly hope they're not on minimum wage as the club might make another 'clerical error'!

Wigan defended excellently last night helped by the referee who decided against 3? penalty shouts and Ince's wayward shooting one of which should have been put on a plate for Afobe. Then again, I was watching a different game
We pressed all game, we were the team going for it right until the last minute, they were happy to hang on for a draw. Just to add no Stoke team has ever done well against Wigan. I was there when Akinbiyi scored the winner and we were outplayed that night, one of only two? victories

Bring back the Central league, where your 2nd string get to play around 40 games a season, plus players coming back from injury can get some game time. Play the same system the 1st team play,if a player gets injured or is out of form, you just replace him with the player who plays in the same position for the 2nd.team,if good enough,if they aint good enough then get them out of the club and replace them with someone who is.

Narrow angle my arse. He was on the left hand side of goal - a position he should be supremely comfortable in - and 10 yds from goal yet he could not even hit the target or work the keeper - wank.

When they are, he can play. But as long as he gives the impression of one who cannot be trusted, he can't.
