Chelsea fans view, Following the Man City game 6-0 If there was ever an advert for the flaws in a one -dimensional style, this was it. He refuses to adapt and believes something that worked in an inferior league must work here He was talking about Sarri Maybe it applies else where

We haven't capitulated like that! Jones has been in charge for 5 leagues games. He did change it for Leeds but you can't play a 3-5-2 against every team. He needs to give it time to see if they can adapt.

Chelsea's team have seen off far better managers than Sarri. The club is pure poison, as soon as they decide not to play it's all over.
There's little wonder for me that Hiddink only ever agrees to stay there as an interim.

There's little wonder for me that Hiddink only ever agrees to stay there as an interim. Our fanbase is becoming pure poison though! Our fanbase would have seen off Ferguson before his unparalleled success. Our fanbase would have seen off Pochettino at Spurs when he only won three of his first nine. Our fanbase would have seen off Klopp when he started his first season no better than Rodgers the year before. Luckily I don't believe the Oatcake to be representational of the match going fans. I'm glad so many of those prone to hysteria don't appear to be match goers.

Our fan base as it is now would have seen off Pulis twice.

Time to start sacking the players.
The manager needs to be in control

The comments, impatience, and venom for the Stoke managers on Oatcake always has me wondering what it would have been like in the late 60s.
Once the honeymoon of promotion to the old Division 1 by say 1966 World Cup winning year I expect this board would have been in meltdown over year after year of buying old reject players from other clubs, like Alex Elder, Willie Stevenson, and David Herd.
Waddington would have had endless abuse, but remember what happened in the end. It took about 4 years for the home grown defenders to mature into one of the best back lines in the league, and when that was topped of with the guile of some of the older players like Dobing and Eastham, plus the energy and skill of Ritchie, Greenhoff and Conroy we eventually had a side that could beat anyone, including the mighty Leeds.
Edit: Oh yes and Chelsea in the LCF of course!
