Made it up whilst live on BBC, fair play I say. However I'm sure he won't give two hoots about your lack of a sense of humour.

I've seen plenty of games when a dog came on the pitch and a few lately with a dog chasing a balloon. None of them were stopped though on account of them wearing Stoke shirts.

Absolute gorgeous cat, got a black one myself. Love cats. Like dogs too, some people seem to be one or the other, never quite got that. Prefer animals over many people really lol. I wonder how he got in there though? I should imagine that the poor fella was probably terrified and cold too. Hope someone had a saucer of milk for him afterwards. Out of interest, has anyone claimed him? Where is he now??

Cats shouldn't have milk. linkMine's a black and white Tom. He'll take on anything and has the scars on his nose and ears to prove it. Very affectionate with me though.

Is that really true, mines never gone for it but is it really harmful?? Mines a right fussy bugger, food Has to be Felix, won't entertain Whiskas or Aldi at all. The vet told me cats aren't fussy about food, it's just about energy, but on this he's completely wrong.

cracking from john achers radio stoke dropped a bollock getting shut of him . praise and grumble is shit now He still does the breakfast show every week day. Don't know exactly why he was binned from the sports side of Radio Stoke, they'll struggle to get him back now, he's all over the country commentating every week for 5 live. Excellent broadcaster, amazed he hasn't progressed even further with the BBC than he has.

Ely, You're assuming that progress in the BBC depends on talent I think who you know is more important.

Yeah a guy who lives in a terraced house adjacent to Goodison Park had been in touch. Johnny Acres had him on air yesterday morning & interviewed him. The bloke hadn't realised anything about it until he was sat watching MOTD later on Saturday night.

The commentary from John Acres was really inspired. Made me chuckle. Having said that, my 9 month old kitten, Ernie, could give Jack Butland a run for his money in goal as he catches anything I throw at him from his toy box! In fact, he would wipe the floor with our current number 1.
I’ve seen John Acres on Saturday Breakfast News on BBC doing the sports bulletins. He has a great ability to broadcast well and I wish he was still doing Praise And Grumble as he is eons ahead of Sandoz and Blakeman!

I love cats. Grew up with cats around. Fond memories of winter nights in front of the telly with cats everywhere. Got Oatcake in 2013 and he's the most aloof arrogant dismissive feline bastard you could ever know. I'll never be able sit with him on my knee. What happens is he'll be asleep on the couch early in the morning, and I'll sit down to watch the football and surreptitiously in the next few minutes he'll alter his body to make sure he isn't facing me.
