What we thinking then - is he getting re-elected?
Biden 9.0% up in the polls with 16 days to go Clinton was 5.6% up in the polls at this same point in 2016, she ended up at 3.2% up and won the popular vote by 2.1%.
Biden currently has a 87.8 per cent chance of winning the presidency according to the New Statesman's election model.
Accounting for that, you'd think Biden just needs to try to maintain a poll lead of >5.0% and the additional votes should be enough to swing enough states his way.

It's quite alarming what the US/UK has served up as potential leaders over the last five years or so!
While Biden seems the saner choice, the way populism has got a bit of a hold on these two countries at present, who knows who'll win?
It's only ever a choice between right-wing and slightly less right-wing in the States anyway, not that dissimilar, in reality, to what we've been enduring in terms of actual governance, for the last forty years.

I think it will be a lot closer than any poll suggests. Come the day of the event people voting 'for' something will make that extra bit of effort to go & vote, people voting 'against' something can have a tendancy to not be that arsed. (And lets be honest, there isn't one, single person that will actually be voting for Creepy Joe, they'll just be voting against The Don).
Either way I'm not that fussed, I'm not American so I really don't care BUT... If Creepy Joe wins people will just shrug their shoulders & that will be that, but if The Don wins the ensuing meltdowns will be hilarious, so from a pure entertainment viewpoint I hope The Don wins. (The meltdowns when the war-mongering psychopath lost were hilarious, and people have spent four years whipping themselves into a hysterical frenzy since then, so the meltdowns should be even funnier this time around if The Don wins again).

If Trump does win, at least it'll probably just be meltdowns via media and a few demos. If Trump loses, and refuses to acknowledge it, who knows how unpleasant it could get. From that point of view alone, maybe it'd be best if the big baby gets his way! Perhaps he'll surprise us all and show some statesmanship and hand over gracefully...

I think Trump will be president another 4 years. There’s a lot of Fuckery going on with this election. Both sides are worried about fraud, ballots not being counted, and attempts to prevent people from voting. Trumpers are planning to stand outside polling stations armed with assault rifles to make sure no one tries to commit fraud. Which is clearly an attempt to intimidate. Biden will get the majority but he won’t replace Trump. I will be thrilled if Trump loses though, his supporters are thick as shit.

Next horseman of the apocalypse is due to be WAR.
So I presume Biden will win, but Trump refuses and takes control of the militia and military to start a civil war lasting a year.

Where is Sleepy Joe and Harris? All I see is Trump out there doing 2 rallies a day fighting his corner to packed crowds. And why the MSM suppression of the Hunter emails. Absolute tumbleweed. Last I saw of Biden there was a sparsely populated crowd all social Distancing and muzzled up. The guy can barely say coherent sentences together.

All the evidence is that voters like his policies but can’t stand the man? The more voters see Trump the more he antagonises them? Only a loony would go to Michigan and encourage a crowd to chant “lock her up!’ about a poor lady who has just escaped a terrorist plot! What a classy performer..NOT!

It's very possible Trump is ahead on the night but with Democrats twice as likely to vote by mail and those votes coming in after the result still be uncallable. Could be a far bigger shit show than even Bush Gore 2001.

I had Trump down as a shoe in six months ago if Biden won the primary buy I think the last 6 months might have convinced a lot they cant afford not to take the opportunity not kick him out. Its pribably down to whether the Dems have targeted the messages to swing states better than last time.
