this is all well and good but someone at the club needs to: a) read it
b) accept it and c) do something about it!!!!

Just out of interest, are there any players people would be desperate to hang on to?
I honestly feel no affinity towards any of the playing squad at the minute and would welcome a complete new squad to start next season with, as unrealistic as that is.

Spot on
And this is bonkers...... '.......... we’ve now conceded from 41 out of the last 42 penalties awarded against us. That’s a quite abysmal state of affairs, especially when we’ve missed six of the last eight we’ve had awarded to us'.

We can all see it, every single one of us.
Why is nothing happening about it?

I genuinely think in time with the right manager we have a nucleus that could have us competitive in this league. We just need someone competent captaining the ship and for them not to be undermined by whatever grim politics is going on in the background.

I'm beginning to believe the people who have been claiming Stoke City is being controlled at the top levels by a boys club. PC seems to have taken a step back and JC and his mukkas will continue to paper over the cracks by casting blame anywhere but on themselves.

The players are bereft of confidence and probably know fans feel that way, when in fact the players need us to get behind them more than ever. We need someone (player or manager) to take the bull by the horns and incite the crowd into some backing. The Leeds match may come at the right time as collectively we all know it's a massive match.

Spot on. We’ve been in free fall for a while. (Years) unfortunately I don’t think NJ will change things only worsen due to expectation. For Stoke read Sunderland, Pompey, Charlton we’re that messed up throughout the club.

Wouldn't be averse to seeing Jones move them all on and bring his own players as and when he can. It would be good to see Edwards and Campbell grow with us if Jones can get them to fulfil their potential though.

This is from the comments section of the article....."I think it’s one thing being physically fit and another being match fit ... we had several players on last night who haven’t played much recently, and in hindsight I’m sure Jones will wish he brought fresh legs on sooner" ....
How about it's another thing being fit to wear the shirt, which most of them are not.

Yes, most of them probably don't care as much as us, but I don't believe most of our squad don't care at all. Morale is at an all time low and they look deflated every time we concede.

The summary from smudge shows a whole pleather of issues and the club is answerable to whom exactly? The hard questions won’t get asked nor answered, I mean, local media, local presser, our Ange...accountability is only realised surely on attendances from the fans and the pin up guy is the manager.
When I read these things, it’s truly appalling, we’ve spent so much money on what?? The accountability is such a big question, that I don’t think will ever get answered, our due diligence in players is most #1 worst ranked for money spent and actual game time.
If you read those stats out to any other club in the football league they’d think you were taking the biscuit!
I feel even more depressed now than I did before reading the article!
We can’t score from a corner, we don’t score in 85+, we don’t score pens, we don’t save pens, we spent loads of money, we don’t score more than 2 goals!!
Fuck me!

The penalty stats are embarrassing. Questions should be asked of andy quy. Who the club seem desperate to keep on their payroll. Why cant he improve our keepers penalty performance. Why cant he coach butand to come off his line

Why cant he coach butand to come off his line Crikey - is no one safe from targeting? We've had some of the best keepers I remember under Andy Quy's watch. Begovic improved, Butland improved. Sorensen used to save penalties for fun, and Quy was here then. Penalties are scored more often than not. More to the point, why have we missed 6 from the last 8? Lack of confidence!

Bang on the money again, but it seems no one at the top of the club is listening.
A culture of failure, spawned by smug satisfaction with mediocrity, permeates the whole sorry bunch, and has been allowed to seep into every particle of the club's fabric.
If Jones is to be given licence to wield the broom to sweep clean the playing staff of the last vestiges of several windows of failed recruitment, those upstairs who stood shoulder to shoulder in each pathetic photo revealing an ever more disappointing cast of high value new signings should also feel the wrath of the club's owners. They should be allowed to hide behind a succession of sacked managers no more.

They must go, the silence of this ongoing fiasco from the owners is deafening, this isn't going to go away....
