which it was , as its supposed to have occured in the limehouse link tunnel , a road i drove almost every day of the week.
lets look at the facts , the tunnel has speed camera's , they have been there for a good few years everyone knows they are there, and as a consequence its almost impossible to get above the speed limit as 1 or both lanes is normally blocked by some myopic taxi or minicab driver doing 27mph . Even in the middle of the night there is traffic .
Other reasons why its a quip
gatso camera's can't record speeds over about 150mph
The limehouse link is quite twisty , and in pre-camera days I only ever hit 80-85 through there on a quiet evening, I doubt the Bugatti has the road holding to take those bends at that speed, i'd be suprised if an F1 car could take those bends at 186 mph to be honest , I've heard tale of some seriously nutty bikers doing over a ton through there at silly o'clock in pre-camera days mind .
also the bloke drives for a living, no license means no job , same for him as it is for me , he drives at silly speeds on the continent where they can't put points on his license .
and finally had he actually been caught doing this speed, it would have been in the press, and he would have served time, bikers caught doing over 160mph have spent a few months at her maj's pleasure

I got a notice of impending prosecution from the north Wales police this morning, Soon as i saw it i thought fuck as i was doing 120 mph on the A55 last week, Read through the fucking thing and its not even close, The twats have done me for doing 35 in a 30 on the A5, Me and mine just laughed at it and even she thinks i got off light realy.
For anyone going up that way this week end the snide camera that got me is at , Glan Conwy, Padog, Conwy. A5.
They will be informed that, of the 3 grand or so me and her spend every year on holidays exactly none of it will be going to north Wales. Which will be a lie as were sneaking off there tomorrow / oops today for a week end break. ;D

Here in Thailand i am told they have one speed camera gun in the whole of the country ;D I know i don't know anyone who doesn't drink and drive  The only time the Police are on the roads is towards the end of the months when payday is approaching and they are a bit skint |
