Bojan was injured in Jan 15 and didn't play with Arnie and Shaq until BMX and Stokalona of December 15, Shaq didn't even sign until July 15 which was six months after Bojan's injury. Doh! You're right. Old age playing tricks on my memory, I thought Shaq was with us before Bojan's injury. It seemed like he was with us for much longer than he was. Who could we play alongside Bojan in attacking midfield to get the best out of.him? I think Ince's game would improve playing with Bojan. At the moment he's our only really creative player + opposition double-team him + close him down. Bojan would free him up + allow him to make more runs into the box rather then him having the ball himself + cutting inside into traffic every single time. Who to play out on the left? McClean's a one-trick pony. He grafts but that's about it. Campbell? Maybe. He's young, still learning. Some things he's done have been smashing, other times he's looked like a kid playing with men + out of his depth. Is wide left his best position? I've honestly not seen enough of him to know. Afobe or Berahino up front? Again, both would benefit from more creativity from Bojan in the #10 and more chances. But then that only leaves room for 2 defensive midfielders from the plethora of them we have. And as many of them are Rowett's signings or appear to be his favourites, we all know that team is never going to take the field under Rowett. About the only thing most of us agree on is that we're not going forward under Rowett. Literally. I'm hoping Santa brings us a late Xmas present tomorrow in a P45 but I'm not holding my breath. It would mean the board admitting they got the wrong man again in a very short space of time and that would take some serious balls to do. All good points that I agree with! Whoever is manager should ditch this stupid 433 nonsense, ignore the calls for the obsolete 442 and get back to our most successful formation which is 4231. Butland Bauer Williams Martins-Indi Pieters Clucas Allen Ince Bojan Berahino Afobe
Getting a new CB in, a real horrible CDM, and possibly a left-winger, and we'd be running rampant.

Of the opinion that Rowetts imminent departure will be a smoke screen for little if any activity in this window, his severance along with his array of coaches will certainly impact on budgets.
You can foresee the first statement from the manager “12 months ago this was a Premier League side”,

I keep reading that 5/6 managers can't be wrong about not playing Bojan in their teams
Is it worth pointing out that the majority of those managers lost their jobs, and another one is on the verge of losing his?
Probably not as a direct result of ignoring Bojan, but why are some people so keen to subscribe to the theory that these men all can't be wrong?

And did those five managers never fail? More to the point were they ever successful? So you think we should base our selections on five failures? Are you stupid ? No, but you are.

We all know he's a confidence player and needs to play in a team that are on the front foot. He went on loan Mainz who were struggling and in a relegation battle and Alaves who were struggling and changed their manager 3 times that season. If, and it's a big if, we change our fortunes and he gets a run in the team there's no reason why he can't be the catalyst to help move us up the division. He needs to play with freedom and not with fear that he'll be out again if he doesn't have his best game.

Getting a new CB in, a real horrible CDM, and possibly a left-winger, and we'd be running rampant. You know, I'd not even considered Berahino for left wing. That team works for me, especially with your proposed additions. But I can't see any big changes to the squad this transfer window and, in a way, I don't want any. We sure as fuck won't be getting a Lothar Matthaus or a Maldini and the current squad really should be capable of reaching the play-offs with the right tactics and right coaching. From now until the end of March is critical. A number of teams will struggle as injuries, suspensions deplete their squads. Many don't have the squad depth that we do. Nobody could claim any of our Second XI are premiership quality as it stands, but we've probably got players in every position in the squad who could come into the team without seriously weakening us. Whether they'd strengthen us ... perhaps not. But I can't see the board chucking millions at the transfer market again and I can't see any players who might improve us wanting to come in this window.

Allen Woods Etebo Pieters Butland Afobe Ince And none of them have been very good Seven So he is still in the team Fuck me you are deluded. mclean shouldnt even be at our club, another waste of time and I said that before we signed him, he hasn’t done a fucking thing to convince me otherwise. I could go on but it seems GR must be taking it up the arse from him because he always plays him regardless.

I would love nothing more than for Bojan to start at home against Leeds and score the winner. I would honestly absolutely love it. I so desperately want him to come back into the side now (either in the first XI or coming into games from the bench) and be a big player for us. I would love it if he could do that, and if it could be used as ammunition against Rowett's career forever. Like, hanging over him in his next job interview that he inherited a decent Stoke side but almost immediately alienated one of their few creative players out of pure spite.
But, that said, if a new manager comes in and decides he isn't too fussed about Bojan, then it would be time for us all to accept it and get behind the new manager. Using Bojan as a stick to beat three different Stoke managers with would be incredibly unhelpful to the club, and fundamentally unfair on Bojan who I presume would just like to play football. If another manager comes in and moves Bojan on to a different league then we all just need to take it on the chin, wish him the best of luck, and move on.

You are probably right but can we not dream of Bojan creativity in the red and white stripes. We saw fleeting glimpses of it earlier in the season only for it snatched away without good reason. But now the dream snatcher has gone and we can dream once more.

Still with us then hope he gets a fair crack of the whip. Jones does seem to be offering a new look and chance for all involved.
