Things like this make me grateful for not having a daughter, and words fail me for the lack of support given to the victim compared to that given to the perpetrators. link

Parents/family allowing access to inappropriate material. It’s learned behaviour. The ongoing brutalisation of generation after generation. It’s an addiction, because without excessive external stimuli, their lives are empty. All hail the Ritalin generation...

Absolutely shocking this is, how old were the boys?! I can't even believe to do something like that would even enter a boys head at that age. I was too busy kicking a ball around... times have changed, clearly.

Dear me, the times that we live in !
Absolutely disgusting, disgraceful and shocking. Whatever has happened to make young boys even think of doing this. As has been said, at their age ( and for a good number of years after that) I was too busy kicking a ball around. The poor girl must be absolutely traumatised, and her parents must be devastated.
As for the boys - words fail me !

How does a 10 year old boy (or less) know how to sexually violate an innocent girl? Like, what kind of TV have they been watching? It's ridiculous though. Society has changed a lot since the days I was a kid.

Exactly, I bloody hated girls at that age to go anywhere near one let alone kiss one

I'm only 28 so it wasn't that long ago for me and I genuinely don't think a "sexual" thought entered my head until I was in high school.

When I was 10, I was too busy pretending I was a half decent footballer.

Sadly some kids are just absolutely twisted from the start, you only have to look at poor James Bulger's tragic case for evidence of that.
Today's environment probably isn't helping mind.

Catching up with the latest brain research; it's in the genes and therefore it's "pre-determined" who is likely to be bad or not. Simple fact, and it begins to show when they're 2. Look them in the eye.
Everything is sucked up by the genes. Behaviour and the environment aren't separated from the body and the brain itself - it's just part of the process that forms the brain.

Truly shocking. You can only guess where the ideas of doing what they've done have evolved from and that in itself is worrying. A broken little girl who will need a lot of help to recover.
