Shaqiri has been absolutely outstanding, overshadowing Hazard

He's been absolutely outstanding.
He's one of those rare players who looks twice the player when playing for his national team. (That's not a slag by the way, but he genuinely looks one of the best when playing for the Swiss)

Shaqiri looks infinitely fitter than he did at stoke

Shaqiri looks infinitely fitter than he did at stoke he does look super fit. watching him, you just wonder how long it will before we get a player of that quality again. the cross for the 4th goal was outrageous and the piece of magic for the 5th was just ridiculous.

Did those highlights show him heading the ball?
He seems at least a stone lighter than when he was here.

The difference being, he actually wants to play for Switzerland and Liverpool.

Certainly looks less bulky and working much harder. Whilst him and Arnie were with us they were very good, but they have both seemingly gone on to better levels....is that due to playing for a better manager who knows how to use them or playing with less shit players?

Shaq, Bojan and Arnie as a front three, seems impossible to imagine now, what the fuck happened?

Just shows the difference real commitment makes.
Fabulous player but thats got to be a negative from a stoke perspective.

Shaq, Bojan and Arnie as a front three, seems impossible to imagine now, what the fuck happened? Under Mr Rowett Shaq would probably be keeping Bojan company on the bench. No room for fancy dans while you’ve got the likes of McLean available!

Isn’t the great Bojan myth that he ever came close to contributing to the level that Arnie or even Shaq did? Hes had some good games but sadly it’s been blown out of all proportion.

He didn't track back at any point. He was superb being given the free role, he did a lot of work in the middle and on both flanks. He was never used like that at stoke and we never saw the best of him

Seeing as Seferovic scored a hat trick, I'm seriously questioning the strength of the opposition on the night.
Man alive he's shite.

I've been watching Stoke for over 60 years. In that run of games before his injury at Rochdale, Bojan was showing the best form of any player we have had at the club since Hudson. No ifs, no buts, no maybe's. Had he not got injured and had he maintained that form, he would have been long gone from the club - leaving us with some wonderful memories - and a very large amount of money!

Got to agree with Lakeland Potter there. Bodger was the dogs in that spell for me.
Agree also with the thought that says it might be a very, very long time before we see talent of his, Arnie's and Shaq's quality at Stoke again.
In the meantime we can all rant about what more we could and should have done to keep them and build a side around them.
