I hope they don't get adverts and videos of Neil Aspin dazzling their eyes when they look at the deeds, they won't stand a chance.

I just wonder! Could he be waiting for Nuneaton to go under before moving Vale to Nuneaton, ala MkDons and selling off Vale Park.
Goan Norm, you know it makes sense.

Nuneaton Borough have withdrawn from the league and it looks like they are going into liquidation, sad news for the community there. Hopefully the fans can raise a phoenix club.

That's 2 non-league clubs gone in the last couple of weeks. Marske resigned from the NPL mid-season

They've been reformed more times than chicken mcnugget meat.
Theyve been reformed 4 times in their history the last time was 2008
Clearly whoever looks after the that club doesnt have long term plans.
Didn't smurthwaite own there ground as well?

Only bad memories of Nuneaton Borough, we must go down as one of their biggest scalps! Shocking end to a match, 24 years ago this November! The epitome of poor defending on display right here.

The fortunes of both clubs have gone in differing directions since.

Working that night was a blessing as it turned out, as it saved me the emotion that losing such a game carries! Was bad enough watching on the box, can well imagine what it must have felt like being there 😫🤨 I did manage to get to the Tamworth replay a good few years later & we were lucky that never went the same way aswell!

Ruined quite an expensive suit that night, went to the game straight from work and it absolutely monsooned it down for a large part of it. An all round shit night, on the pitch we absolutely stank the place out...........

This should have come with a trigger warning. I paid twice to get in (don't ask), lost my favourite beanie hat (beyond annoying), and had to get a cab back to Birmingham because shit trains. Awful awful awful night.
