Now waited for around 3- 4 weeks for my garden waste bin to be emptied. Asked last week when they were due to be emptied and i was told this week "TODAY". I realise that it's heavy after all the rain has made both the hedges and grass heavier than normal but theyre taking the piss the lazy fuckers.
Rant over.

Isn't Periwinkle still doing community service? Get him down to help, it would be the most useful thing he has ever done in Stoke.

Im with you on this one
When I was young we used to have a bloke that started early and actualy put everyones bin in the street for them. They were metal at the time too.
After the shit truck had been he came back later and put all the bins back round the back of your house.
Thats service
Theres a council down south that has special bins (3 in 1) with separate containers for glass, paper and normal shite. No doubt there is a charge for this privelidge.
Last week they actually sent a note round to all residents asking them to take the glass container out before the shitters arrive. Apparently the shitters have been complaining about the weight!!!!!

Personally I reckon they do a fantastic job, and the council tax is only a grand a year. Bloody bargain. Although the grand also has to pay for a couple of those mini milkfloats with circular sweeping brushes on the front, which you occasionally see in the ironmarket transferring Big Mac containers from the centre of the road to the gutter.

The problem with living down a walkway is that i have to leave the wheelie bins in my garden which has three steps, and sometimes they have been known NOT to take them even though i push them as close as i possibly can to the gate.
I have put them in the walkway before now and they get knocked over by kids. Also i suppose i could be sued should i put them out over night if anyone fell over them.
If they do not take it next time that theyre due to be emptied then there will be some fun.
Sometimes i cannot win.

They came and went this morning without emptying the bin, and after i had reported this at the local Council i proceeded to explain that if it was not taken on the next collection date then i would dump it inside your offices, needless to say it got emptied approximately 2 hours ago.
Fuckin arseholes.
