I have the dreaded flashing 3 lights and green light on my power supply for the 2nd time on my xbox 360 It ain't under the 3 year extended warranty anymore - has anyone ever repaired one or know anyone that does? I've been told that sometimes the fault is to do with "dry" joints on the chips. You can disconnect the fans but leave the heatsinks in place - power the unit up and leave it on for hours - this will literally cook the system and start to melt the solder - power off and leave for hours to cool down and the "dry" joints will become good again. Anyone tried or heard about this?
