I had a Celica 140 vvti. I liked it but the vision was terrible. Nice gear box but it's a bit of a girlie car too. The 190 Celica is excellent.
I've never tried a Z3 but it's rear wheel drive so probably a bit more fun.

I would take a punt at the Celica cos the Z3 is a bit too Girly but then again so is the Celica...

If you're after something a bit sporty why not try the Mazda RX8, Great value for money and not quite as dated as either the Celica or Z3 (and it is a 4 door 4 seater)

They'll do about 28mpg but they depreciate quite badly too. Also there's they Hyundai Coupe which is I'm led to believe a very good car 35mpg for the 2.0l fully loaded and comes wth manufacturers 5yr warranty. I suppose MPG figures depend on how heavy footed you are.

Spidey, you are either guessing or having a laugh pal.
I own an RX-8 and they do roughly 25mpg on a good run but around town you are looking at 17 mpg tops. Great fun car though.
Strange to be choosing between the Z3 and the Celica, totally different cars.
If you go for the Z3, avoid the 1.9, you could walk faster. Very underpowered. The later 2.2 is much better.
