I'm thinking of taking the Richie Barker's out on a holiday abroad. Mrs RBO says there are loads of deals because people are staying in the UK due to the decent weather, however she does not know where these amazing deals are, so muggins has got to go and find them.
So can anyone point me a good direction of a website that might do the job for me?

I assume they must have a late booking facility to fill the holes.

I tell you what, we don’t buy package holidays. We get accommodation, buy flights, hire a car & we’re off. However, the price of parking at Bristol airport is a joke. £100 for 14 days. Raking it in...

I did the same thing Bath a few weeks ago going to France. Jet2 were good value out of Manchester but the taxi cost from Biddulph and back was a killer £90 in total. Why does it cost £55 I wonder just to stick one modest bag in the hold. The Perigord is beautiful though.
Jet2 are worth a look.

This is useful if there is children going - www.jet2holidays.com/free-child-place-finder, although in the main, booking it all separately is normally cheaper. Jet2 are decent though. What are your dates?

I'm looking for something for £250 pp that's not Hotel Bastardos. I think I have my work cut out... I'll probably rock up at a travel agency and see what they can do.

Got the ideal solution for you, Rich, and your willingness re. self-catering helps. Plus it'll be a LOT less than £250 pp, too. How would £800 all-told suit you? No visas or mozzie jabs/tablets required, and travelling will be a doddle. I can do you a nice week in the stunning Costa Biddulph, third week of September. I'd like the £800 in cash, please, and can collect it from your house no prob. Oh just one thing - er - best not mention this AT ALL to Chuff, or - er - (oh, I know) - he'll be envious at the great bargain I've got you.All right, sunbeam?

Plus a Mow Cop view is not what I want after a terrible blimp accident I had there in the 1970's. Sorry

Try polka dot travel on Facebook. Few shops based near stoke (ish). Cheap and can pay and book over the phone.

Nip up Freeport talke(or whatever it's called now) and go in Thomas cook. We booked 2 weeks before the flight date and saved £1000 on a 7 day all inclusive. For 3 of us it was just over £1300. It's probably gonna be a bit more pricey now because of the school hols. The girl there even booked it online for us so we got an extra £100 off.
