Is N'Goy injured? Or getting ready for a loan? His career seems to be going nowhere fast Another very young side put out again! Very young. Good sign! See Tyler Savage on the bench. What was the result?

Whatever link you've put up I can't see it on my phone It's a tweet from Southampton that shows the goal. So if you want to see it, go on the Soton twitter feed and it's on there. Ours obviously doesn't have this!

Campbell for us. Tom O’Connor scored for Southampton. I wondered what he’d been up to since Crosswits finished?

No Verlinden or Ngoy. Injured, nearing a loan, or involved tomorrow?

Josh Tymon not figured either?. In fact Ngoy appears to have done a magical disappearing act of late?.

Think he was linked, but didn't go anywhere. Suppose he could be injured - but his career doesn't seem to be going anywhere either He's desperate for another loan, although he didn't set the world on fire at Walsall. If he doesn't get one this week, God knows where he goes from here. Same to a lesser degree with Verlinden. They've both got long-term deals but don't seem to be in the mix, which considering our real lack of depth in their positions is noteworthy.

N,goy & Verlinden have been pushed down our throats as two of Europe’s brightest youngsters and to protect our assets we awarded both with long term contracts ? Well isn’t it time that they started to pay back for this investment? It’s okay saying they need to go out on loan to gain first team experience, if they were so good they wouldn’t be regarded as part of the first team squad, they should be regular first team players. It’s a brutal cruel world in the football industry but sometimes you have got cut your losses and admit defeat. In Belgium Verlinden is a forgotten man as the next generation of players have come along and left Verlinden behind. This is not a witch hunt against the two players it’s just how many times have we been down this road before ?

N’Goy back in Belgium for birth of his child and Verlinden out with a hamstring I think.

N’Goy back in Belgium for birth of his child and Verlinden out with a hamstring I think. She must have been in labour for weeks he has been away that long. Joking aside 2 years ago these two looked to have so much talent, i watched them at Bradford in the check a trade game and both looked to have bright futures. It appears N'Goy has not developed (my view he lacks drive and has relied on his talent as a youngster quite fast and strong against same age group but a mans game is different) and Verlinden has had one injury after another the back one has knocked him backwards no pun intended. I really hope both make a decent career in the game and i would love Stoke to get the benefit of it but i will hold my breath.

I thought Verlinden looked really sharp against Southampton last week, it’s a shame this has come right at the end of the loan window, sometimes you need a bit of luck as well as talent! That said, he has a long contract at Stoke and age on his side (19?) so I wouldn’t give up on him just yet, he needs a decent loan though, the StPauli thing was an experiment that didn’t work for him.
