Just got back from The Roaches..bloody hot up there. The whole place is as dry as a bone. Wouldn't be surprised if it doesn't go up in the next few days.

Just climbed into the car to head home, you could cook a bloody chicken in the damn thing. Having a black car probably isn't helping the situation.
PS. Radio 2 is still crap.

I never thought I'd have to keep my Tropical Fish cool in Stoke-on-Trent, bloody ridiculous 91 degrees and rising.
I've renamed the bala shark to FRITTER.

You only have to look at Saddleworth Moor to see what could happen up The Roaches..the place isn't just dry it's crisp. I've been up walking twice this week and I think it will go up.

For a short burst, I don't mind it but when it lasts for weeks and I have to work in it then it can get to fuck. Give me the cold winter over a hot summer any day.

The wet spring and hot spell seem to have multiplied the bloody horseflies and mozzies.
I got three bites before the 3rd hole at carden park last night and spent the rest of the round fighting them off. I get a reaction to these horsefly bastards. Amazon recommends smidge to repel them - anyone used or know something better ?

We've had another stinking hot day in Lyme Regis. Been on the beach and 33 C again but slight breeze so a little bit more tolerable. We've driven back tonight to miss the Friday fun and games on the M5 and M6, got back about 45 minutes ago with no delays in just under 4 hours. We drove down last Friday and with accidents and 50mph sections the journey took over 6 hours.

A bit of shade, I've got a book and possibly a bar to relax in. France are playing on Saturday so I might not get much peace and quiet!.

Bloody weather?
Therefore, it's important to vote for a party that takes environmental issues seriously.
