Dont know the answer to that, but assume it takes a bit longer, after play-offs, to creat three fixture lists with all its complexities for 72 teams compared to the 20 in the Premier League.

Its strange how things change. After a season of frustration and the horror and fear of relegation, I now have no interest in the Premier Lge, and am actually looking forward to the Championship.
Other than beating Arsenal once a season at home I can not think of any reason why I should miss it.
The added benefit is that I will not have to set my alarm for ten to nine every Sunday morning to see Stoke on MOD!

Vale fan at work reminded me of this last night with a stupid smirk on his face. Told him he would kill for our fixtures. "We are ok where we are" was his reply. DICKHEAD.

It'll be more interesting to see which fixtures have been arranged for the so called 'Elite' top 6 Clubs to have a(relatively) easier start to their new campaigns..

I've always watched the Premier league from back when I was a kid in the early 90s, I love match of the day and will always watch it regardless of what league we are in BUT Stoke come first obviously.

West Sham may struggle next season. Their Ground not conducive to a good atmosphere and if Arnie goes they have an aging team

Even the poster who asked if we could change the rival teams messageboard drop down menu to the Championship kinda made it hit home. I guess I have to change all my bookmarks for the tables and whatnot as well

Well it came out last season pretty much as many suspected that there's a degree of rigging in the premier league fixtures, so after they've handpicked the games for the big 6 (+ any like the Liverpool-Everton games) its only a handful of games left between the other teams to sort.
There's still issues like us and Vale not being allowed to play at home on the same day as far as police recommendations go right? So with the extra match-days I imagine the big pain is getting all these variables in place and making sure they're fully factored in and then verifying any simulations of the fixtures to ensure there isn't errors.
It'd be nice to see the full set of rules, I wouldn't be too surprised if greater manchester police had something in place to limit the number of teams coming to manchester on a saturday, or limiting the number of teams with fanbases of a certain size etc.

As above, it's all fixed anyway so none of it should come as much of a surprise.
I'm looking forward to next season more than I have done for a while.

This 100% They had a discussion on Talksport a few days ago about the Premier League and they basically said, and I wholeheartedly agree, that take away the clubs you have mentioned, the remainder of the Prem and the top 10 of The Championship are at a similar level.
