Is it that important that we go straight back up and have a manager like Pearson or Mccarthy. It’s written in the media about the clubs number one aim of going up at the first time of asking.
The obvious answer is yes, financially of course. But one, if we are so desperate to get back to the prem asap why didn’t we have this urgency to remain there, some 12/18 months ago?
Secondly, i’d Suggest we don’t just jump in with the old experienced McCarthy type (what would we do with him if we got straight back up?) what about a plan, growth, the future, building a cohesive side, a new ethos with a manager who’s not from the stale old pond? This undoubtedly won’t happen, but it irks me that we’re now sooooo desparate to get back, when clearly the board weren’t willing or naive to spending to remain last season/s!
