Clint seems to be one of them players that's been around forever. To think that the likes of Darel Russell & Steve Simonsen are the kind of players he'd of been playing with & they finished playing a good few years ago..
Just checked back & it says he played 38 games for Carlisle in the season that's just finished, some going that for a 39yr old playing lower league footy.
Clint was part of the initial 'Work Arrd' DNA fabric that Pulis was trying to create at Stoke
Loved Clint Hill. Now he was the sort of player that built Stoke's DNA, who would have kept that dressing room in check.
Exactly, and he's got the max out of his ability by strength of character. Love to see the next generation of Clints, Rorys and Ryans coming into the club as our new backbone for next year's promotion season. That's what we've missed most of all.
Remember me and my mate Carl getting autographs after a game about 14 years ago ( we were about 13 years old ).
We got Clint just as him and his missus were getting into their car opposite the club shop. As Carl waited for his autrograph, he looked at Clints missus and said ‘you’re a very lucky lady’ , followed by an awkward silence. 😝
Does he have his coaching badges? If so son get your application in. You will stir some of the wasters up. And have a good knowledge of who to bring in.
There was a time in the early 90s that I hated Stockport way more than Vale, Wolves, Arsenal and Man U. I recall the likes of Jim Gannon, Kevin Francis and their manager Danny Begara
Now I see they are nowhere which I guess is a bit of a shame but rather them than us

Anyway best of luck Clint
Anyone remember the chant sung to Gannon after the Stein Court case?
I’m sure he launched one in when Kamara was in charge from around the Half way line that got nodded in.
I remember it as I had a Spanish lodger who was a huge Atletico fan and I persuaded him to come along…… he never came again 😂😂
I honestly can’t remember that game mate and most of the Kamara period is thankfully gone from my memory🤣
just looked it up, it was vs Tranmere and we lost 0-3 which was about right for Kammy, in fact Tranmere had an ok side, Jason Koumas, Mickey Mellon, John Aldridge
