I see his name mentioned a lot, but how many would be satisfied with him as manager?
Just wondered what people's thoughts were.

After the Sunderland fiasco no but I think he has redeemed himself a little at West Ham so yes and that's only a just about yes because let's face it he ain't done that good at West Ham considering the team he has

In comparison to Lambert, yes, but not really my first choice.

I’d have coco the clown before Lambert. They're two different people? 😯

Yes. I think he'd be a good option. The type of manager if it pays off that could do a project. Also strikes me as a man of strong values. Far better option than Lambert.

Good manager, I would have him here. We are just the sort of club that he should join and build his profile with. His own team, promotion back to the premiership.

Yes - very happy. Good manager who would be a good fit. He could do with something more stable after Sunderland and West Ham.

Decent manager in my opinion - his stocks taken a bashing since the Utd job, but hes the kind of manager who would suit this club down to the ground.

I'd prefer someone else but the trick with Moyes is giving him long term stability. Compared to keeping Lambo it would be like appointing Ancelotti.

Better than Lambert but who isn't. Deeply uninspiring and predictable a proven failure in his last 4 jobs.

Like I said in another thread, I don't see Moyes as the man if the board is serious about a promotion push. Sunderland aside, which was fucked up top to bottom, Moyes has been pretty reliably mid table. He took a very talented Manchester United squad to mid table, and he's taken a limited West Ham squad to mid table.
At KUMB, the West Ham forum, the fans are pretty meh about Moyes staying on. They don't want it but wouldn't be upset if it happened.

No one could ever follow Fergie and as such his utd record is skewed. He did t have a great utd team to work with either
Compared to fergie his record is shit but it’s better than LVG who replaced him
Can’t believe I’ve defended the shit.
Uninspiring but better than lambert

Personally I was hoping for Moyes in the summer (last). I do believe however there would be a majority (on here) that would snub their noses up at Moyes, Big Sam or similar, whereas the majority of fans would embrace such an appointment.
I think we may have missed the boat now, but here’s hoping.
PS. I’m trying not to be disrectful to PL who for me has worked with a weak squad and been faced with horrendous individual mistakes at critical times. Perhaps the wrong place at the wrong time. Only time will tell

Did he keep West Ham up or the dreadful standard of the rest of us? He got Arnie firing and saw his potential as a CF, something Hughes was either to inept or arrogant to see. We wont get Moyes. He will get another premier league job. Back to Everton more likely Id take Allardyce SGS
