Looks like it wasn't only defensive coaching not on Hughes' daily 'to do' list Don't think he had a to do list at all.

As long as a hefty sell on clause is included in the deal, I'll be happy. Thanks Ramadonna, but we need a few grafters in the near future

I will be sorry to see Ramadan go. Still think he has so much potential. I feel the club have let him down to a certain extent?
See how he gets on with some good coaching? Wagner will have him playing to his full potential, then you will see a very good player.
He gave 100% effort in all the games I’ve seen him play, which is not something you could say about many other players this season.
Good luck Ramadan, I hope you prove the doubters wrong.

Our money back and a sell on would do, he hasn't improved since we signed him.

I can't see us getting that much tbh, especially as its Hudders, can't see them spending 10mil on a project, I'd guess at around 7 at most with some add ons maybe.

Every odd £1m is important.

If Sobhi had a footballing brain he could do something. I’ve rarely seen a player with such poor decision making skills and whilst he may well be young, such a lack of those skills even at his age I think are a fundamental flaw that will limit his career,

Needs to do less charging up a blind alley and more precise play.

Our money back and a sell on would do, he hasn't improved since we signed him. Young player who was bought for around £4m Hasn't advanced in 2 years An international for a team in the B-leagues of world football Played smattering of PL games in which didn't particularly merit any more than what was paid... Hang on, our transfer team value players with those attributes at £18m don't they?

Good luck Sobhi. Shame it didn't work out, there's a player there somewhere. Would have been nice to see him take the Championship "behind the factory of chairs" with Stoke 😂

He was bright, energetic and skillful when he eventually got a chance under Hughes.
At the end he was a sad reflection of the club which not only failed to improve him but actually set him on a backwards course.
I really hope he goes on to do well under Wagner and further exposes the tossers both past and present at our club...

The next 18 months might tell us a lot about the player, or it could expose the way we ‘develop’ young players for the absolute sham that it seems to be.

He's got a couple of Cruyff turns in him but he's so predicable and slow. He looked exciting on youtube playing against farmers and plumbers but never shown his hype here

What a massive pity. Unfortunately for him, he's been massively let down by Stoke City, and his development has been actively hindered during his time here. I genuinely think that he will be making us look very foolish in a few years. How has he been let down by Stoke? Hes played 41 games in 2 seasons and done nothing to warrant a regular place or prove that he his a good footballer. For the most part, we've been a much better team when he's played. He's found himself unfairly dropped when certain other wingers have been undroppable, no matter how bad they've been. It was all summed up when we were 4-0 down against Man City (or somebody) at home. We got a free kick in the opposition half and Sobhi went to take it, since everybody else had given up. He looked to Hughes for some instruction on whether to take it short or long, and Hughes just turned his back on him. It was symptomatic of how he's been neglected in his time here. If Huddersfield employ actual coaches who develop players, he'll be a wonderful player in three years.

Unfairly dropped perhaps once. Sums him up really If he has to look at the manager to see whether to play it short or long!!! How many players need telling that during a match??? Neglected? Hes never justified a regular place. You cant coach a player when to pass or cross or to get his head up. Its a natural thing. Best he will ever be is average.
