I follow Salah since he was playing for our Under 21 team then for Basel, most probably I watched all of his games, he was linked with Stoke City after his failure at Chelsea then he moved to Fiorentina. Few months ago I thought Ramadan is a better player than Salah

Mark hughes did try to sign him twice though...once on loan and once permanently Ah yes, but did LMH in fact, do the identification of a future superstar, or was he just given the name on a long list from Farto? *
And did Teflon do the actual 'trying to sign him' bit with his agent?
And was it perhaps Denise that kiboshed any deal hammered out anyway as it was more than her lunch money a week?
And so the debate rumbles on.

Some tit will blame Lambert. And some tit will bring Lambert into a discussion with nothing to do with him in a pathetic attempt at scoring points as he believes that makes him a superior fan. Could you imagine...

If he'd turned up here, he'd now be with the U23s trying to work out how to get rid of the excess belly he'd developed.

So, we nearly signed the "wrong" Mo Salah...I wonder if we did ACTUALLY sign the "wrong" Kevin Wimmer, the "wrong" Imbula and the "wrong" Saido? Certainly feels like it

Ramadan failed at Stoke this is a fact, whatever the reasons but this is fact, I still believe in him and his skills i still believe he will shine when he takes a proper chance in an attacking team, Stoke can be an attacking team at championship, or he will be loaned to another country, he can shine in teams like Celtic, Ajax, Benfica ... etc. (big teams in small leagues), Stoke managers believe he is perfect in defending, while he is not, they also believe he cant attack but this is his strong point.

He was at Stoke on trial when Boskamp was here Quite a few people fell for this but Pete Smith admitted it was a joke and a different Salah who was sent packing by Boskamp after a unsuccessful trial!

Few months ago I thought Ramadan is a better player than Salah I remember you saying that - so what's happened to make him the total stellar player he is now? Klopp? 1- Salah was perfect at Roma, he was their best player but he was used by the managers to assist for Dzeko, in Liverpool it is the opposite Firminho is used to assist for Salah and give him spaces that he loves. (Klopp effect) 2- Salah himself improved physically alot he gained more muscles 2 years ago in a preseason with Roma, their manager spaliti asked him to lose it as it will decrease his speed, he gained it again with Klopp and it helped him alot in PL, his speed is a bit lower but he became perfect physically. 3- he has much more confidence with support from 120 million Egyptians in addition to Liverpool fans everywhere, he doesnt lose any fan voting even against Ronaldo and Messi who have massive number of fans. 4- he improved technically, he used to pass the defenders by playing one and running to receive two, now he can also pass them directly with his skills and speed. 5- I remember a game for Roma against Real Madrid, they were about to knock RM out of CL, Salah humiliated Ramos and Marcelo with his speed then he missed at least 2 or 3 sitters, he was missing these sitters in the first few games with Liverpool too, lately he became so calm in front of the goal which helped him alot to have a better scoring ratio. 6- PL suits him with its speed more than Seria A which is a bit more tactical/defensive/slower.
