My missus tolerates The Fall when I put some on.
Although I did play some the other week and she didn't recognise them. She said: "That sounds like The Fall but I can understand what he's saying. Who is it?"

Have been playing 50,000 fall fans all week and on the way to work was thinking i need to see them before they stop playing live. Got to work and there was an email from Manchester Academy announcing the gig....spooky.
Went straight on the net and ordered the new album (is it any good) and Bend Sinister which I have on vinyl. I need one more...was thinking of The Infotainment scam which I believe is a good one.

Imperial Wax Solvent is excellent.
Infotainment Scan is very good albeit with a couple of dodgy tracks but overall very good.

Afraid I won't be going either, but can recommend the new album as being a good 'un.
Personally think "Shift Work", "Hex Enduction Hour" and "This Nation's Saving grace" are the best Fall albums (I'm still trying to complete my collection though so there are still a few I'm yet to hear) so if you haven't got any of them then erm...get em!

I can't make it either. Is it me or did I read somewhere that MES doesn't like S-o-T (the city, not SCFC)?
Hex is their best but This Nation's Saving Grace comes close.
Although The complete Peel sessions are great too.
