Certainly getting the team fit before kick off at the start and kick off at half time.... The trainer looks mean

This is done at most Championship sides, I imagine that's where PL has had it from.
LvG used to do it at Man Utd too, if memory serves me correctly.
I don't know how fit they can get from doing one lap of cones, think it's more about getting the blood flowing again after sitting down in the dressing room for 10 minutes.

Think it’s far more of psychological thing rather than a physical one This. It's a bit of a 'wakey wakey, we're in a game'. Some players it will help. Some will find it funny, some will find it useless.

It’s used because players usually spend 15 mins or so before kick off sitting down and also the half time break sitting down, it’s to loosen the muscles up. Just a quick sprint to ensure your warm so when you do kick off you don’t go and pull a muscle within 30 seconds. Actually quite a clever idea but it’s lost on some

It's bullshit. Does the square root of fuck all. I suppose it’s better than coming out after half time and standing about in the middle of the pitch in bitterly cold conditions for a couple of minutes before the Ref and opposition come out. That was positively Sunday morning football thinking

There's me throwing the last dregs of ale down as I make my way to my seat just as we're kicking off and I'm missing a quite important change that Lambert has introduced. A week on Wednesday I'm going to take my seat early and assess this touchline warm up training, sounds professional almost.

The last minute ale-swigging is probably as important as the touch line warm-up. Don't mess your match day routine up.

PL as done his homework on the club and knows that the fans did not want him, the team looked like they were unfit and not running enough. He's said all the right words and got the team working more on Thier fitness in front of the fans and as stoped the trip to Dubai and told us the players are getting double training sessions.
Not only is he addressing some issues he is getting us all on side with the public show.

It's bullshit. Does the square root of fuck all. I’ve been a physiotherapist for over 27 years in the NHS and my own practice and it just goes to show that you know the square route of nothing on this subject. I’m not going in to detail on here about the benefits of doing it, but you can look that up for yourself on google. But you probably know better and won’t believe what you read.
