Fuck him off should have gone 3 years ago better still never signed him. And with that you confirm your dickhead status Why? He's never really been what we've needed up front.

I'd only let them have him if they take Zouma back, and let us have that Batshuayi on loan

Peter Crouch is one of those players who we going to need in our relegation battle. Now we have two decent FB's he will start scoring again. If he goes, who will score goals for us? Choupo, Bera, NGoy? I don't think so. How's about the chairman gets up out of his easy chair and starts to spend some serious money on a replacement? I know that might be a foreign concept but we've screwed the pooch for far too long on forward players and it's about time we stepped up and got some quality in, and yes, that costs real, top dollar.

If Zouma costs so much for a seasons loan not unreasonable to Demand £15 Mil.
It’s time we started getting proper money.
Have loved Peter since he arrived and admired him before that, but it would be a win win for all concearned for the wright money.
Need to act quickly so we can spend the money elsewhere.

Interesting that the bloke who wrote the piece with Percy is Sam Wallace, who was the ghost writer of Crouchy's autobiography.

Amazing opportunity for him if its true but I do worry it might put the final nail in our coffin - I guess we would have to give him the chance and wish him well.... Why would we? We're busy trying to replace him so its difficult to argue he's central to our plans (nor should he be at 37), his value is decreasing day by day and this is a chance to recuperate his transfer fee (which I'm sure we never thought possible) it continues to build our relationship with Chelsea (which I'm sure will bring further benefits in the future) and finally he's been a loyal servant and it would be a move he would relish...

Played well on Monday night your mate didn't he? If we could find anyone daft enough to give us some money for his services, I'd snap their end of. He's a great guy, he's served us reasonably well but he is a lousy, ineffective starter who for the time he's here, will sadly find himself given starts by lazy arsed managers who should know better. Hopefully Lambert will see sense and put him out to pasture...or if not pasture, at least give him no more than 15 minutes per game from the bench before getting rid of him in the summer. EDIT - how has he proven us/me wrong exactly as well? Our recent run of appalling form has almost single handedly coincided with his return to the starting 11 where he's scored the princely sum of ZERO goals and has been about as much use as a lamppost.

Zero assists? Zero threat? His performances as a starter are embarrassing and have opposition supporters pissing themselves at him as they leave the ground. Monday night was no exception.

Well the noises prior to changing the manager suggested we were and Lambert says he knows where the weaknesses in the team are so you would assume he recognises the lack of goals And if we had an offer from Chelsea for Berahino then I'd be far less concerned about letting him go - what has that got to do with anything? No I'm sure you couldn't, you are just about the lowest e.i. poster on this board - of course exactly what we need is one of the leading figures in the dressing room pissed off for the next 16 games as we try to find a way to pull ourselves out of trouble - particularly as a new manager is trying to establish himself and pull the squad together... I' don't know that Crouch would take that approach but a 'I don't give a shit what you want' approach from someone who actually matters certainly wouldn't be very helpful Yes, he could be the difference hence my very first comment...

Bonkers as it is it does appear to be true. Crouch will be desperate for the move.
Two strikers to get in if he does.
Crouch + £10m for Batshuyai?

And since we already need one striker we would need two if Crouch goes. I dont think any new player could replace Crouch's positive influence to our team spirit, being a model professional and our oldest player that others look up to.

No surprise there. Crouchie moved here a few months ago, his parents live in Cobham (on the spot baby sitters) and the Chelsea training ground is also in Cobham, about five minutes away. What more can a fellow want? But for us, it’s time to move on.
