It's pretty clear that Giggs views any job below the Premier League as beneath him despite having no managerial experience. I suspect it goes further though, that Stoke would be beneath him even though it's been a Premier League club for a decade now. You don't want a manager that thinks they're too good for you. Isn't that what we've got?

Giggs....no way! let him earn his stripes like Dyche has and who tw is doing a great job with Burnley. On that subject why would he be interested in the Stoke job, can't believe his name has even been mentioned.

Giggs? What a joke! Mike Pejic would be a good bet - a kick boxer is just what our team needs.

If giggs did come in, who would his backroom staff be?
Assistant managers, coaches etc?

Why would we go for Giggs? He’s got no experience of management. Likewise Rowett has no Premier League experience. The fact Hughes is still in post is testament to the quality of candidates available. All managers had no premier league experience at some point. But strangely enough, most managers aren't appointed to manage a Prem team after only having managed 4 games in total in their career.

at no point has giggs given me the impression that he is bright enough to manage a modern football club.

However, I’d give him a chance. After all he is Welsh!

If we are gonna give it to someone who has never managed before, best give it to Steve Bould, at least he is one of our own (and may do a bit of defensive work with the players!). Get Paul Clement as his number 2 and job done.

I agree. I was on about Rowett or whoever. Appointing a manager with virtually zero experience of any kind of management would be suicide.
