What a horrible club from the Top to the bottom .
West Brom have said Jake Livermore confronted a West Ham fan after a comment was made about the death of the midfielder's infant son.
The player was involved in an angry exchange after he was substituted in the second half of his side's 2-1 loss.
Livermore and his partner lost their newborn son Jake Junior in May 2014.

If true, and I can believe it, absolute Scum Bag.
W Ham the club could easily identify the person and do something about it.
A lifetime ban would be letting him off easy.

On the other side of the coin, David Moyes was totally respectful of Stoke City and it’s owners when asked a question about the possibility of making an offer for Joe Allen.

Knowing the kind of scum that support West Ham, they'll give him a medal rather than do anything. I doubt he'll get an FA ban either. Brother Trev will be working his magic behind the scenes.

Not true. I was at the match last night and pretty close to where Livermore was taunted about his alleged dabbling in recreational stuff - nothing to do with the tragic loss of a child.
Whatever, the press have their made up story with the word allegedly printed after with no proof to support the allegation but as its West Ham don't let facts get in the way - it must be true eh!!

Horrible bastard whoever did it, but I think it's unfair to drag a club's name down based on one individual (And I hate West Ham).
Dregs of society support every football club, including ours.

Errr West Ham identified who it was and ejected him from the ground. West Brom happy to leave it to West Ham to do what is necessary
Not sure what else they could do ?

IN the light of intense media speculation, West Bromwich Albion would like to clarify an incident involving our player Jake Livermore in last night's Premier League game at West Ham. Following his substitution in the second half, Jake was subjected to general abuse from home supporters which he shrugged off. However, he acknowledges that he moved to confront one spectator who chose to make a comment about the death of his infant son. The Club would like to think that all right-minded football supporters could understand this reaction which did not result in any physical exchanges before Jake was led away to our dressing room.

It’s a great shame that this sport (it certainly isn’t just W.Ham) attracts people who seem to think that any human decency they have can be abandoned at the turnstiles and they are free to produce whatever bile enters the space where their brain should be. Other people then excuse it on the grounds of ‘passion’, ‘rivalry’, ‘banter’ and such like.

Now it's harsh to just label West Ham as a scum club because of one guy, but it is funny how all these low life ignorant scummers always seem to support West Ham...

Bit silly to say they are a scum club. It seems to have been the words of one moron. It is wrong to label all their supporters as scum based on an odious individual. However, they are a scum club with their horrible owners and chairman along with the highway robbery that is their public financed stadium. I always used to consider West Ham a decent club and maybe one day they will be again but not with that regime in charge.

I think what ever deal West Ham got for the stadium is more down to London borough than anyone else, as for their owners and chairman, well they are at least attempting to avoid the drop, pity the same can’t be said about our dithering board.

The owners are porn Millionaires. Lady Brady just lies all the time, and only learnt last week if West Ham went down their rent would be reduced. Would you believe that the taxpayers and ratepayers of Newham council even pay for the corner flags! Absolute disgrace their owners. I have a friend who is a West Ham supporter and he says the supporters they take away from home are scum. A West Ham supporters word!

I've no alternative facts (unless you include conflicting FB and twitter accounts). Having said that, I'm not surprised WBA see the matter dealt with. After all, if you can keep the matter focused away from Livermore voluntarily leaving the field of play to have a confrontation with a spectator.... why haven't Sky been all over that? If it turns out to be true (it's a truly disgusting thing to say) then the guy gets what he deserves but don't tar the whole club for the "alleged words" of an idiot - Arnie by comparison suffered 90mins abuse from you lot the other week...he loved it!!

mrred - who knows what's true? - that's my point. So far we've only WBA and Livermore's narrative which you guys and the media decided is true. What about Livermore and his own actions though eh...?
