I would renew.
I follow Stoke City through every chapter, and have done since 1983.
The club and its fans are bigger and have greater longevity than the personnel and nobody should walk away due to disliking the personnel in my view.
It's all about OUR football club.

Under Pulis it was the last 8 months that was poor, under Hughes it's been alot longer so i find it unbelievable that some fans would not renew if Pulis came back, ive had a season ticket for over 38 years but how i feel at this moment I will probably not renew who ever is in charge, the mess we are in comes from the board,it was time to get rid of Hughes at the end of last season or back him with big money to 25mill + to get quality proven player's in.The board did neither

This thread shows how bad our support is,as a supporter you support SCFC not the manager or board, this message board is mainly made up by JCLs .If it was not this renewing your season ticket would not even be up for discussion, the ones of you who are young have never had it so good even the last two years are nothing comprered with periods in the 70s,80s 90s and the early 2000s.Remember Stoke CIty Football Club is for life not when you feel like it.

I think most would renew in the spirit of a good chance of the euphoria of a bounce back - the real depression and possible supporter backlash would be the following season should we fail or God forbid we flirt with further disaster a la Sunderland, Bolton, Blackburn, Birmingham, Hull etc etc...

Support the club, not the individuals. I don’t think it’s anything to do with either bloke. But much more to do with their philosophy

I will travel from Coventry every game to watch my team in whatever league they are in and whoever the manager will be, mark Hughes has had more chances than any other manager has, if I was crap at my job I would be collecting my p45 ASAP. Supporting your team is a religion and will follow them home and away,,,, even though home games are like an away game! Can't wait to play the fa cup against cov at the Ricoh - only 5mins away on the bus😊 However Hughes needs to be gone by then or we could be humiliated on the pitch and I will not hear the end of it from the other 'arf

If the split in the boardroom between Coates, who wants Pulis back and Scholes who thinks we will lose too many s.t holders if he returns is true..who would renew and who wouldnt!!?? I wouldnt...we didnt sack him because he was brilliant!! I’m not Pulis fan but I go Stoke to support the team & whatever league we are in or who the manager is, it doesn’t change anything. My first season as a Season Ticket holder I suffered Chic Bates, Chris Kamara & Alan Durban. We got relegated but other than last year (due to work) I’ve continued to renew my ST.

Not sure to be honest. Football and Stoke City is becoming less and less important to me. I hate modern football with a passion. The way I feel at the moment I'll be far more likely to renew if we go down.

Of course I would. I've seen some low points in my time. And I still remember thinking that we'd never grace the premier league. I support the club and have seen many shite managers come and go, but I'm here to stay

If every single season ticket holder refused to renew : Cost £7 million per annum.
Cost of relegation : £90 million per annum.
I’m sure the Coates family are not that desperate to ensure five thousand Pulis haters pay £350 next year.
Face it - the club are not going to pick a manager on the basis of a moderate percentage of fans that don’t like the football.
They have to assess who is most likely to keep us on the gravy train and is also available. If they don’t they’re incompetent.

I’m out if toxic comes back can’t stand his football and this is my 40th consecutive season . It nearly killed me the last time he was here the last 12 months of his last rein were torture I can’t go through that again ? But if I’m honest the last 18 months have been shocking how Hughes has kept his job I don’t know ? Massive decision to be made after Saturday if we lose.

Well of course I would. My bloods red and white my heart and soul are forever Stoke and I hate shopping etc on a Saturday afternoon. Being going since 1968 and have had a season ticket since 1990. Good times bad times but forever a Potter. Next question please?

Had a season ticket for years, but didn't renew when I thought we were keeping TP after the abomination that was his final season. When they got rid, I went straight back and renewed but had lost two good seats. This year managed to get the original seats back, and we have been utter gash. TP comes back, well he's just not an option for an enjoyable Saturday afternoon- I will renew if the Board can show that they've learned from this sorry shambles of a season-but for me that involves not even a sniff of TP returning.

You think it was because they were worried about your 350 quid? There was a power struggle and Pulis had run his course (it seemed).

Yes why not? I'm a Stoke City supporter, throughout my 50 years as a supporter people have come and gone but Stoke City have remained. You stick it out through thick and thin, that's what loyalty is about.
