Surely only a win can save his skin on Saturday? The performance doesn't matter only the 3pts.I can't stand the thought of "we played well and deserved to win" being trotted out as an excuse.

May be in the short term, but he should go at the end of the season, anyway.

I'm pretty sure we will stay the course with the incumbent management team, the risk analysis is complete and the present team is considered the least bad option. We could probably do ourselves a favour by getting behind them whether we like it or not.

unless there is another Tottenham type effort I imagine they will make any Decision after the Newcastle Game on 1st Jan . I dont think they will want to sack him mid season but if we dont improve much by then may be forced to they wont want relegation and will no doubt be sounding out possible successors already .

Time for a demonstration if we lose?

Coates has little choice but to decide the future of Hughes based on results, an improving series of results means he stays but 2/3 losses on the trot might see him go.
What has always been fairly clear is that up to now the Chairman thinks Hughes will turn it round and I think he's correct, if he doesn't then the next major problem is who replaces him.

Time for a demonstration if we lose? We need, really need to get behind the team. A demonstration would be extremely negative. I think Hughes is safe unless someone exceptional becomes available.

He is now 11/10 favourite to be next prem manager to go with Clements 6/5.I think he's gone if we don't win Saturday but who comes in God only knows, anyone other than TP.

Apparently, all we have to is work 'aaaard and winning will follow. He's morphed into Pulis!

If we lose badly with a poor performance devoid of attitude and application he's a goner.
If we lose with a positive and spirited performance that shows players are still on board, he'll survive

I cannot see us winning with the players available. Bruno and Kurt, a massive loss IMHO!

He can't and wont survive another spurs performance, particularly to one of our peers. He will survive a burnley type defeat.

With the current management set-up and philosophy, together with the players available I just can't see where the next win is coming from.
I really do hope we beat West Ham but I've got serious doubts that we will.

I think a demonstration is coming his way if we lose regardless. To be honest it's coming whenever the next home defeat is in all probability. We could of course win some matches, that would help

I think it's gone way beyond results , I can't think of one positive aspect of Hughes and his team . A win won't change the fundamental problems we see week in week out .

Well said, get behind the team and then if we do lose, as I fear we will, trudge out in dignified silence it will send the same message without any juvenile discredit for the club and supporters.

It has to be a win Saturday & the week after against West Brom nothing else will do. We must put some space between us & the bottom 3 going into the second half of the season anything less & he must be shown the door.
