Spurs aren’t in the habit of letting quality players walk (unless its Man City or the like calling)

He was the only player to arrive back at the station and not get on to the coach, Whimmer got in to a car being driven by some women and drove off, to be fair it was not a flash or new car so at first I thought had I seen correctly but was deffo him

There are too many total fucking pussies like wimmer in the squad.
God I wish we had a rory delap, glen whelan, or a riccy fuller in the dressing room right now.
Players that were desperate to win.

The fact that he isn't very good adds insult to injury
The bloke needs a good bollocking but Jesé has proven recently that discipline at Stoke isn't a strong point.
Summer signings really have been awful

Unbelievable after a 5-1 thrashing Hasn't this been taken completely out of context? If it was after the game then why shouldn't he wish Spurs well considering he previously played for them and many of the Spurs players will be his friends. If he'd done it before the game it would be an entirely different matter. As for him liking that tweet, that too was after the game. OS.

To be fair she is ok & does show some passion for the team in general.

Crumbs, you'd think Wimmer was some kind of 'fixture' for Spurs, truth is he only ever featured in 15 games for them often as substitute and played less than 10 hours football for them in total! Which kind of begs the question how did his value increase from the £4.3m Spurs paid for him to the £18m we paid for him while he essentially DIDN'T play for Spurs? In short we have basically pissed the entirety of the Arnie money up the wall on this fella but that's another story

No coming back from this, utterly despicable. If he wants to text his mate then fine, but plastering it all over social media like its the best day of his life.....getting booed at the next home game, sorry this guy is everything thats wrong with our club atm. Overpaid, poor performing, couldnt care less piece of pondweed.

Especially the fact we’re in turmoil Maybe you're right, but some of the comments on here are making him out to be a traitor. Why? Because he's wished his old mates the best of luck for the rest of the season? As I said previously, his remarks have been taken completly out of context even if he could have been a bit wiser and said nothing after we lost to them. But I can even excuse that to a degree. Most football players I've spoken to would never get beyond £16,000 in Who Wants to be a Millionaire, even using their three lives. Some of them are as thick as pigshit. OS.
