Well a, we're not having a GE in 6 months time and b, he still wouldn't win. He hasn't moved an inch on the uncosted policies that he lost with 5 months ago. How is he convincing millions more to vote for him? He wont have to do anything, this evil, bungling bunch of pricks clinging to power are doing it all for him You hope so but do you not worry that it's actually in May's hands not Jezza's?? A better leader for the Conservatives and Corbo's in the rear view mirror. How come he isn't flying away in the polls? Because he just can't convince enough people that his still uncosted manifesto is the way forward. Attachment Deleted

A bit like the inquest public none enquiry that the Tories called to hide the corruptness in the Grenfell tower case, or the inquiry into Damian Green or countless other inquiries they have set up to hide the facts!! In legal terms what Corbin is doing is the right thing he has to wait for the coroners inquest before he can proceed as it will be seen as him interfering with a legal court if he does not ! The suicide was a direct result of Welsh Labour's policy and treatment of one of their MP's. The Grenfell fire was a direct result of a faulty fridge freezer. Damien Green has publicly replied to comments already. Give it a rest.

These proven Brexit Bullshit Merchants continue to get on don't they What do you think is stopping Turkey joining the EU? They need to successfully negotiate 33 of the 35 chapters of EU law to show they do/are capable of complying (2of them do not need to be negotiated). Most nations need to meet a reduced list but as Turkey are incompatible in so many ways they have a high threshold to meet. So far, since their application to join in 1987, Turkey have managed just 1 (in science and research)All of the below are still required: Free movement of goods Freedom of movement for workers Right of establishment and freedom to provide services Free movement of capital Public procurement Company law Intellectual property law Competition policy Financial services Information society and media Agriculture and rural development Food safety, veterinary and phytosanitary policy Fisheries Transport policy Energy Taxation Economic and monetary policy Statistics Social policy and employment (including anti-discrimination and equal opportunities for women and men) Enterprise and industrial policy Trans-European networks Regional policy and co-ordination of structural instruments Judiciary and fundamental rights Justice, freedom and security Education and culture Environment Consumer and health protection Customs union External relations Foreign, security and defence policy Financial control Financial and budgetary provisions In 2016 Turkey withdrew their application to join. Quite simply, Turkey will not be part of the EU any time soon and certainly not imminently as many lying brexiteers claimed

Is it not time that we stop the petty squabbles before half the people on this board get bans Without doubt this government is a shambles and the trouble lies with the fact the opposition is equally a shambles The liberal democrats are irrelevant As Fraser in dads army repeatedly told us we're doomed I tell you doomed You can't say that anyone is a shambles in government other than the government. Labour may be a shambolic government given the chance, but the Tories are shambolic. But the greatest possible British government would look shambolic negotiating brexit. The country is entirely divided and at least half will be annoyed whatever the outcome. With brexit, no government can succeed. This Tory government have been dealt te impossible hand to play.

Actually no we vote for our members of parliament to do the best for the country and represent us. If the policies of a party wanted to leave the EU then you vote for that candidate we had already voted to stay in the EU years before. We wasted as a country millions on the vote and campaigning for it that could have gone into other things like the NHS/schools or housing (I know its not a lot but it could have) What it has lead to is a divided country, a rise in hate crime, and a lot of lies during the campaign in fact everything that was thrown at the campaign to get us out we now fined are lies, dam lies and misuse of statistics in fact anything to get there own way. And why did the rich press barons want it and certain politicians (mainly rich( because of eu laws that would make there tax havens outlined in the paradise papers have to be declared (EU law coming out in 2018) and to erode your human rights and also Consumer, employment and health and safety rights. So no I don't think people should have been given this vote and then manipulated by the rich and powerful into voting away there rights as citizens of the uk and Europe

Quite simply, Turkey will not be part of the EU any time soon and certainly not imminently as many lying brexiteers claimed Close but no cigar. In fact I'm so glad you've answered how you have as it's a perfect example of your bias. "In 1987, Turkey applied to join what was then the European Economic Community, and in 1997 it was declared eligible to join the EU."There are 35 chapters but none have been 'closed' apart from Science and Research, 15 of the other chapters are still open. In fact, Ch 17, Economic and Monetary policy was opened as recently as December 2015 just 6 months before the EU referendum. Turkey - Overview of Negotiations
The migrant crisis brought the negotiations back into the highlight and many hoped the EU-Turkey migrant agreement would be a springboard for closer relations. Only 3 months before the EU referendum. EU-Turkey statement, 18 March 2016 "The EU and Turkey reconfirmed their commitment to re-energise the accession process as set out in their joint statement of 29 November 2015. They welcomed the opening of Chapter 17 on 14 December 2015 and decided, as a next step, to open Chapter 33 during the Netherlands presidency. They welcomed that the Commission will put forward a proposal to this effect in April. Preparatory work for the opening of other Chapters will continue at an accelerated pace without prejudice to Member States' positions in accordance with the existing rules."
"The fulfilment of the visa liberalisation roadmap will be accelerated vis-à-vis all participating Member States with a view to lifting the visa requirements for Turkish citizens at the latest by the end of June 2016, provided that all benchmarks have been met."Turkey have not withdrawn their application to join the EU. Here's the Turkish PM brushing off the symbolic vote in the EU Parliament saying he Turkey was still determined to be a member of the "EU family" June 2017. Here's the EU's Foreign Policy Chief EU minister says Turkey still on track to join bloc despite calls to stop accession - The Guardian only 3 months ago. Turkey hits back after Merkel says EU should scrap accession talks - The Guardian September 2017. The calls from Merkel and Shulz to halt negotiations were largely seen as a bit of Nationalism when they were on the campaign trail. It was only Turkey's reluctance to accept certain protocols and conditions around Northern Cyprus among other things that made the Accession Process proceed slowly. These have recently stalled after the political purges following the failed coup in Turkey and disagreement over the migrant deal. The point being is that the pace of talks are dictated by Turkey's actions not the EU's political will. In fact, you weren't even close.

The rights that have been won across Europe benefit all European citizens and maintain a legal right for all Europeans. this means that if you go abroad you have the same laws /rights in another country as you have in this. this benefits business as you are working to the same rules and regulations and stops undercutting of products on the basis of workers rights.

I think there are a lot of adults in this country who are capable of making an informed choice just perhaps not the one that you subscribe to. Major, Blair offered votes on the EU and lied and backtracked but if you want to blame someone look no further than the EU. Their absolute intransigence when Cameron went begging for a deal led us to this point. The same intransigence we're getting now. Nothing changes.
This argument has been done to death but there is an issue about democracy whether you choose to ignore it or not. What I voted for all those years ago was a trade arrangement. What we've ended up with is a situation where the EU decides whether doctors in London can turn off the life support of a baby in London......and you worry about the power of the press barons but presumably only those in the newspapers who don't share your view.

Health tourism is technically a myth as all EU citizens are entitled to health care as they would get in there own country, foreign (non eu) should be charged for any treatment and billed through the billing system in place within the NHS. Under your plans anyone under the age of 18 would not receive any NHS care and some older as they have not worked and have not contributed to the NHS. The labour party introduced PFI to try and modernise hospitals that had been neglected and run into the ground by consecutive conservative governments we had hospitals that were a health risk themselves. The idea was sound paying over a period of time for developing the infrastructure of this country however because of some errors in calculations in hindsight it should have been looked at in more detail.
