That's pretty much the extent of the defence of the Tories at the moment though - basically, "I kind of know it's been one long clusterfuck, but I'll convince myself it's much better than an imaginary government might have managed..." You know when people say that they are trying to convince themselves that they still made the right choice. I actually disagree, I think the Labour party would have done a better job at navigating through this and we would have seen fewer deaths. It's basically been a lot of socialist policies that we have put in place. What we do know is that Jeremy Corbyn hasn't managed to nearly kill himself through shaking hands. Hypothetical speculation, the Labour Party under Corbyn had no chance against The Tories under Boris plus as you say Bo Jo has put a lot of socialist policies in place to fight the Chinese "virus" but the socialists are still moaning like a drain FFS, Corbyn couldn't navigate to a vacant seat on a train and ended up on his arse.

I fixed it for you, an 18,000 majority retained under mays manifesto which went to 22,000 only the truly deluded can think he needed to do anything to be re-elected or that spending money in newark is corruption.

There is nothing corrupt about spending taxpayers money in places like Newark you seem to be full on reversing as usual and attempting to waffle about previous unrelated actions.

Fact my arse if it was fact you would point to the law that was broken or tell me why the people of newark dont deserve this funding, the fact you dance around as usual and think spending money in places like newark is indefensible says it all.

The EU deal has already given Japan tariff free access to the EU, didn't give tariff free access for cheese and other things going to japan so thanks for confirming the 🇬🇧 is already negotiating better deals

I read the article and understood it, something you clearly haven't, your definition of corruption seems to be someone you dont like doing something perfectly legal and fair. You know you are talking rubbish sunshine as you have failed to back up your claim as why someone with a 18k majority in a brexit seat would ever need to offer bribes.

I'm loving the "free press" narrative, which in reality was "a couple of sites printing newspapers got delayed by a few hours but all the news was online anyway"

It’s one of the great advantages of being in opposition - when the government is in a pickle you let them stew and don’t be a distraction to their travails. Starmer is quite right therefore to say as little as possible.
